Chapter 113 Unified Management

"Does the Third Elder have any instructions?" Elder Huang asked, bowing to Jian Jun.

“I also want to choose a disciple from among them,” Jian Jun said, and without waiting for Elder Huang’s agreement, he looked directly at Xi Yun and said, “Young friend Xi Yun, would you like to be my disciple?”

Lin Ling was taken aback. Jian Jun wasn't talking about teaching or anything like that. Being a disciple was a completely different matter. If she became his disciple, she would be completely connected to the Sword Sect. It would be hard to say whether Xi Yun would still be a disciple of the Xuan Yu Sect.

He quickly spoke up to stop her, "Senior Jian, Xi Yun is already my disciple."

"Haha, it's nothing, having a few more masters is never a bad thing," Jian Jun said nonchalantly, still looking at Xi Yun, "Young friend, are you willing?"

Xi Yun felt a little flustered by the stares and quickly hid behind Sui Xin. Her voice came from behind, "I want to be with my brother."

She knew Jianjun; he had spoken up for her before, so she had a decent impression of him.

The atmosphere was rather oppressive, with dozens of elders staring at her with stern faces, which made her a little scared.

"Hmm? Brother?" Jianjun looked at Suixin.

It would have been better if I hadn't looked at him; once I did, I immediately noticed his extraordinary nature. His aura was restrained, he was calm and collected, and his eyes were particularly striking, seemingly concealing a special power.

He naturally saw through the mask and recognized Sui Xin, and also knew why he wore a mask.

"What's your name?" Jianjun asked, knowing Xiyun's special circumstances, and asked deliberately.

"Junior Ye Yun greets senior," he said casually, feeling a surge of goodwill towards the old man.

"Haha, young friend Xiyun said he wants to be with you, so would you like to become my disciple?" Jianjun asked with a smile.

In his view, the other party seemed to have no reason to refuse, after all, he was a cultivator at the Divine Origin Realm, an opportunity that many people dreamed of.

"Um, I'm sorry, senior, I already have two masters," Sui Xin said, bowing firmly and refusing decisively.

First of all, I really wasn't interested. If Xi Yun hadn't come over, I probably wouldn't have wanted to leave Xuan Yu Sect.

Secondly, both Lin Ling and Zhao Yingtian were deeply devoted to him and he was unwilling to secretly acknowledge another master.

“You…” Jianjun didn’t react for a moment. “Young friend, if you become my disciple, I can give you a treasure.”

As he spoke, he drew out a sword with an extremely terrifying aura.

The sword is long and slender, with faint patterns spreading out within it, exuding a Taoist charm; the hilt looks ancient and exquisite, inlaid with some unknown dazzling gemstones, perfectly natural.

Tianjun is the name of a sword, a high-grade Earth-rank magic weapon. It was the sword that Jian Jun used when he was young, and he named it after the character "Jun" from his own name, which shows how much he valued this sword.

Although it is only at the high-level Earth rank, after following Jian Jun for so many years, the sword intent contained within it has long surpassed the value of the sword itself, and it is in no way inferior to the Heaven rank.

The young elders behind him were filled with envy and their eyes burned with desire. They had also asked Elder Jian for it before, but they were all driven away.

I never expected that the elder would offer me a place to live today.

Seeing this, Sui Xin didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Why was this senior so stubborn? But she still politely said, "Senior, why don't you just forget about it and take it back?"

Behind him, Lin Ling saw that Jian Jun was about to lose his temper and immediately said, "Senior, Ye Yun has always been stubborn. Why don't we just let it go?"

"Hmph, I don't care, I'm taking at least a few with me today," Jianjun sneered.

"This..." Elder Huang was at a loss for what to do. Suddenly, a thought struck him, and he tentatively said, "Third Elder, we can't be careless when accepting disciples. Why don't we teach them for a while first?"

“Yeah, yeah, let’s talk about taking on apprentices later,” Lin Miao chimed in, deciding to get through this hurdle first.

Jianjun thought for a while. If they refused, there seemed to be nothing he could do. He might as well see what their aptitude was like first, so as not to take the wrong disciples in the end. He sighed and said, "Alright, you two can cultivate with me. That should be fine, right?"

Having no other choice, Sui Xin cupped his hands and said, "Then I'll have to trouble you, senior."

"Hey, senior, how about taking me along again?" the chubby boy suddenly said from behind. "I also love swords and aspire to a powerful swordsmanship, especially a strong one like you."

"Oh? Hmm, not bad," the chubby boy's words seemed to please him. "Okay, you come too."

He glanced at the other disciples and was somewhat taken aback. How could these disciples all have such high cultivation levels? Even the best disciples in the sect were only this high.

Each one of them is extraordinary, both in terms of temperament and cultivation.

Then he looked at Lin Ling and asked, "Young friend Lin, your Xuanyu Sect didn't send all of its most elite disciples, did it?"

That's too reckless! The best members of our sect are still being raised at home. We can't let them go out casually. If something happens, it will be a huge loss.

"Yes, even the strongest eagle, without the baptism of wind and rain, will always find it difficult to soar in the sky, and so it is with them."

Lin Ling said that even though the sect was worried, they still let them come in the end, which is enough to explain everything.

"Sigh, that's true," Jian Jun sighed after hearing Lin Miao's words. Perhaps this is why the Sword Sect has always been a step behind the Profound Jade Sect.

“Alright, since your Xuanyu Sect trusts our Sword Sect, we will certainly not let you down. I will take all these disciples with me and personally teach them,” Jian Jun suddenly said, as if he hadn’t been this happy in a long time.

Then, he looked at the group of young elders behind him and said, "You guys help me manage them, understand?"
