Chapter Ninety I Ascended

Although my mother was also a deity, she was born with a celestial body, which made her cultivation twice as effective. Even so, it still took her 20,000 years to become a deity. I must have cultivated for at least 100,000 to 200,000 years. It's strange enough that she died and came back to life.

To ascend to godhood is simply the biggest joke in the six realms for millions of years.

"Ji Ruchen?"

The first thing I asked when I woke up was about Ji Ruchen's safety.

Secondly, there were the clansmen killed by Ji Ruchen.

My second brother told me that the people Ji Ruchen killed were all illusions in the protective array, not real people. But they were so real that I can almost hear their voices now.

But my second brother would never lie.

"That halberd is like a minister."

I stubbornly kept asking my second brother.

He said:

"He was taken away by the immortals and taken to their secret realm. They told me to forget him and pretend I never knew him."

The celestial messenger also told him to tell me that I had done well, and that from now on, the matter of Ji Ruchen would be wiped clean, and the celestial and demon races would have no further connection. He told me not to be attached to it.

I am the daughter of his enemy, so he is not wrong to say that.

Wanting to be his wife is a pipe dream.

Now that I'm back, I should forget about worldly affairs and just go back to being my good-for-nothing self, right? But I always feel like something's not quite right.

Due to the aftereffects of having my heart removed, my health was extremely poor, and I was bedridden for three months, during which time only my second brother took care of me.

Father, Mother, and eldest brother are not home.

I asked my second brother, and he said that last time my eldest brother took me back to the palace without my permission, which violated the agreement he made with the immortals.

Father and Mother have been invited as guests by the Immortal Clan. My eldest brother is in a bad mood and has gone to the Frozen Hell to practice with someone. He won't be back for a while.

And so I lay there until Mo Han came to see me.

He is the husband I've arranged; he's destined to be the Heavenly Emperor.

We have a very good relationship. He cultivated very hard for me, and at a young age, he has already become a famous war god in the heavens.

Every time he won a battle, he would come to my house for a visit, saying that he missed me terribly.

What does it mean to feel like three autumns have passed since we last met?

If he doesn't come soon, his little wife will be kidnapped.

He went to the Liuli Palace almost every day, except when he was away fighting.

He's practically begging me to be tied to his belt so I'm never separated from him.

Having such a clingy little devil is a blessing or a curse.

But who could blame him for being so beautiful, with an enchanting face and a free-spirited temperament, that he could absolutely mesmerize anyone?

That's how I fell at his feet, held tightly in his hands for three thousand years.

Yes, a full three thousand years.

He caught me when I was still an egg.

Sometimes, he would take me to various secret realms to cultivate, trying to mold me into a "good girl" who is good to everyone.

Unfortunately, I always manage to lead him astray, turning him into a spoiled, arrogant, and domineering third-generation rich kid who bullies men and women, acts as an accomplice to evil, and is overbearing.

Thanks to my maternal grandfather, the Heavenly Emperor, Mo Han and I were able to get along very well wherever we went. The gods in the Heavenly Court were very tolerant and generous towards us.

Whenever Mo Han and I were short of money, we liked to visit the residences of various deities, to exchange pleasantries. After a round of visits, we wouldn't have to worry about food and drink for hundreds of years.

But every time we finished visiting relatives, Mo Han would be unhappy, feeling that it was his fault for not being able to support me and that I had embarrassed his grandson.

He always gives me all the money he earns.
