Chapter Six: Hands Faster Than Brains

As I listened to him, I felt a warmth in my heart, but I was even more confused about what on earth all this was.

"What exactly do you want?" I almost roared.

He reached out and pressed my pressure points, then sat down next to me on the kang (heated brick bed), carefully picked me up and held me in his arms.

I was lifted into the air and felt like I was about to be thrown to my death at any moment, and I couldn't move my body. That feeling was quite unpleasant.

And just like that, I was taken advantage of by this stranger I had just met, and it actually felt pretty good.

I'm thinking this guy is either an idiot, with a face that looks like he could bring ruin to a country but is actually a complete idiot, or he's such a good actor that I'm no match for him. From the moment we met until now, I've been completely under his control. But I really can't understand how a cripple like me could get him to go to so much trouble. So I'll just assume he's sick. Even if I'm crippled, I'm still mentally sound. I can't argue with someone who's not.

Even if I were to argue, what could I do? I'm basically a dead man now, unable to even utter a word.

As the night grew deeper, I slowly began to feel sleepy. The person held me tightly in their arms, gently patting my shoulder as if to soothe a child. Before I knew it, I had fallen asleep.

In my dream, I was in a bright and sparkling palace, and my body became much smaller, looking about ten years old. There, I was playing happily with a group of children my age. Among them was a little boy who looked almost the same as me. He also called me Chaochao. The other children treated him with great respect, calling him Young Master and me Princess.

I followed him around like a shadow all the time. He always looked at me with a smile.

I was having a great time playing with that boy when I was woken up. Before I knew it, it was already broad daylight.

Looking at that incredibly handsome smiling face, all I wanted to do was slap him and destroy it.

Unexpectedly, my body moved faster than my mind, and in an instant, five faint finger marks appeared on that handsome face. Much better this way; I was quite satisfied with my masterpiece.

My body can move again. The anger from being disturbed in my sleep has subsided considerably.

The person I hit stood there, leaning against the headboard, stunned for a long time before coming to his senses. He seemed unable to believe that I had suddenly hit him.

But even after I treated him like that, he wasn't angry at all.

I wasn't happy for long. When he came to his senses, he waved his hand, and my masterpiece vanished from the world. He still had that incredibly handsome face. If it weren't for the pain in my hand, I would have thought it was all an illusion.

Who the hell is this person? Even though my martial arts are destroyed and my lower body is crippled, that doesn't affect the power of this slap. Damage of this intensity should take a day or two to heal; to heal instantly makes me doubt my strength.

Just as I was wondering whether to consider making a comeback, something completely unexpected happened.

An exquisite recliner suddenly appeared in the room, as if it had been custom-made for me. Is this even human? I, who's never been particularly skilled but always bold, chickened out.

I was screaming inwardly, "What the hell?!" If I could, I think I'd be a thousand miles away right now. It was absolutely terrifying!

"Try it," someone waved their hand, and my body involuntarily flew towards that chair.

"I need to go home to my dad! I'm just a kid! Please, ghost, have mercy!" I yelled for help, but the person remained unmoved.
