Chapter 107 is not for ordinary people.

"You, you barbarian spy!"

Mo Li's face was grim as he coldly stared at the blood-covered soldier and asked, "Why are you framing me?"

The soldier's legs trembled from Mo Li's glare, and he couldn't help but back away. Cheng Jin immediately started coughing violently, "Cough cough..."

Seeing this, Hua Mulan hurriedly said, "Forget it, we'll talk about this when we get back! Mo Li, you'd better explain this to me and the fallen soldiers properly!"

"Explain? What do you want me to explain?" Mo Li said angrily. "Just because of one sentence he said, you don't believe me?"

"Yes! I don't believe you! I've suspected you from the very beginning!" Hua Mulan looked coldly at Mo Li. "You came because you were injured, and you left because you were injured. Now it's not just me who suspects you; everyone suspects you. We don't know where you came from or what you're up to!"

Mo Li stood there, stunned. He wanted to tell her that everything he had done was to create a peaceful era for her, so that she could retire from the military and return home to live the life she wanted!

He didn't ask anything of Mulan, he just wanted her to be safe, happy and joyful. Why couldn't she understand his good intentions?

Hua Mulan looked at the silent Mo Li and coldly turned her head away. "If you feel guilty and ashamed to face the other soldiers, then don't come along!"

As Mo Li watched the figures of Hua Mulan and the other two recede into the distance, and thinking of her resolute indifference just now, he felt utterly disheartened.

He couldn't help but spit out a mouthful of blood. The bright moonlight shone on his pale face, making him slightly dazed.

A chilling wind carried a murderous intent, and the sound of rustling footsteps echoed from the depths of the forest. Mo Li stood there like a lone boat on a vast ocean, poised to be capsized by the waves at any moment...

However, just as the murderous intent was about to reach them in the forest, everything seemed to sink into the sea and disappear.

Mo Li sighed and asked slowly, "Why are you here?"

"Your name in the Book of the Nine Springs has faded a bit. I was afraid something had happened to you, so I asked the Realm Lord to come and take a look. Sure enough, you actually sacrificed a thousand years of cultivation to save her, and now you're in such a sorry state! Now, you're like a mortal with a knot in your heart, so fragile that you're easily hurt by the slightest setback."

A helpless smile flashed in Mo Li's eyes, and he spoke with a self-deprecating tone, "If that's not the case, tell me how I could save her in this place where the spiritual energy of heaven and earth is so thin?"

Mo Chen sighed, already fully aware of Mo Li's predicament, and couldn't help but say, "Let's go back. The difficulty of this mission has increased; you can't continue..."

Mo Li wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth and smiled bitterly. "Don't you understand me? Everything I have is for her alone. I have found her in this life. How can you expect me to let go?"

Mo Chen looked at Mo Li coldly and said, "But if this continues, you will die!"

“Death…” Mo Li raised an eyebrow, giving a bitter smile. “Is it that scary?”

Those eyes had long been prepared for death, just as resolute as they had been back then!

Seeing Mo Li's wicked smile, Mo Chen suddenly narrowed his eyes as if he had an idea. "Since we can't change her alone, let's change the world together!"

Upon returning to the military camp, Hua Mulan took Cheng Jin to Li Jing's clinic. "Old Li! Come and see him quickly..."

Li Jing stepped forward and asked impatiently, "What injury did Mo get this time?"

"It's not Mo Li, it's Cheng Jin!" Hua Mulan said, frowning.

Li Jing looked at Cheng Jin, who was covered in blood, with a surprised expression, and frowned slightly. "Alright, leave it to me."

As he spoke, he began to treat Cheng Jin's wounds.

Upon hearing this, Mulan said, "I'll go ask if there's any leftover game to give you some to nourish your body."

Cheng Jin smiled broadly. "General, my injuries aren't serious. Could you chat with me for a bit..."

Hua Mulan frowned slightly, hesitating, but seeing Cheng Jin's youthful face and expectant eyes, she nodded and sat down beside him.

Seeing this, Li Jing frowned slightly, and became somewhat absent-minded as he lowered his head to treat Cheng Jin's wound. The shallow wound could not possibly cause him to be covered in blood...

Li Jing glanced at Cheng Jin subconsciously, only to meet his seemingly harmless yet sinister smile.

When Mulan returned to her tent after taking care of some official business, she was surprised to find Mo Li asleep on her desk. Thinking about what she had said earlier, Mulan was a little angry. "That guy, he really doesn't know what's good for him!"

Just as she was about to step forward and wake Mo Li, she suddenly noticed a faint trace of blood at the corner of his mouth. A pang of pain shot through her heart, and she instinctively clutched her chest. "What...what happened? Why does seeing him injured hurt me so much..."

His handsome face was deathly pale, and his lips were completely bloodless. Hua Mulan suddenly remembered that Mo Li had gone out with her while still recovering from serious injuries. "Could it be that the soldier just now injured him, causing his old wounds to flare up again..."

Hua Mulan placed her hand on Mo Li's forehead; the burning temperature made her flustered, and she hurriedly whispered, "Mo Li, Mo Li!"

Hearing Mulan's call, Mo Li frowned slightly and slowly opened her eyes. She saw Mulan looking at her with concern, and couldn't help but smile gently, saying, "You're back. Is Cheng Jin feeling better...?"

Hearing this, Mulan felt a pang of guilt, but she couldn't help but complain, "It's all your fault! If you hadn't given them the wrong route, we wouldn't have suffered so many casualties, and Cheng Jin wouldn't have been so badly injured!"

She was so worried about him, but she couldn't bring herself to express her concern. Instead, she said some harsh things, complaining and criticizing his actions...
