Half a month has passed since Mo Li left. There is no more laughter and joy in Mulan's camp, no more hunting, no more sharing a tent with her, and no more of that melancholy melody of homesickness...
Mulan sat at the table, staring silently at the empty bed.
Just as she was lamenting the passage of time and the emptiness of life, Cheng Jin, who had recovered, walked in, glanced at the note in his hand, and said to Hua Mulan, "General, we have received a battle command letter from General Wang. He hopes that we can send a few elite soldiers to Black Dragon Mountain tomorrow to assist him in eliminating the bandits there."
Hua Mulan's eyes lit up. "Are you talking about General Wang Qiankun?"
Cheng Jin nodded. "Exactly!"
Mulan couldn't help but smile. "Great! Send troops immediately, I want to go myself!"
Cheng Jin said nothing, lowered his head, and left the tent with a cold face, giving orders.
When Li Jing heard that Wang Qiankun had assigned him a task, he frowned. "Wang Qiankun is known as the God of War, and he's very arrogant. Why would he ask General Hua for help with his mere hundred-man army? Let alone managing the bandits around his own territory..."
Li Jing was puzzled by this and went directly to Cheng Jin to ask, "Cheng, when did you receive General Wang's letter? Are you aware of the specific details of the operation?"
Cheng Jin squinted at Li Jing and said, "Old Li, don't meddle too much in military secrets like those for fighting on the battlefield!"
Hearing Cheng Jin's disdainful words, Li Jing was so angry that he glared and his beard bristled. "Hmph, when I was killing the enemy, you were still a child!"
Cheng Jin coldly replied, "That's the truth. If you don't believe me, go find the evidence yourself!"
Li Jing's face flushed with anger. After leaving Cheng Jin's camp, he went back and immediately wrote a letter: "How dare they look down on this old man! I'll write to that idiot Wang Fengzi's son right now! Tell him to teach him a lesson!"

Since the heavenly fire protected the royal city, no barbarian troops have invaded. The people of the royal city are also celebrating their heroes with great joy.
The reason for choosing today is simply because the new young hero has just recovered from his injuries, and preparations for tonight's bonfire party began at the crack of dawn...
Mo Chen entered Mo Li's room and found him missing. He searched the entire military camp several times but couldn't find him. "Where did this guy go? He just recovered from his injuries."
"You were looking for me?"
The sudden sound startled Mo Chen. "My God, where did you come from?!"
"Let's find some wine to take on the road..." Mo Li said, patting the wine gourd at his waist.
Seeing Mo Li dressed so neatly, Mo Chen asked in confusion, "Where are you going?"
"This..." Mo Li was a little embarrassed.
Seeing Mo Li start to act coy, Mo Chen immediately understood and pointed at Mo Li, saying, "You, you really are a lecherous fox who loves wine and women!"
"I only have the motivation to see her safe and sound, please grant my request, brother!" Mo Li pleaded.
It even had that cute, coquettish tone of a fox!
Mo Chen's lips twitched: "This guy is beyond saving!"
"Then remember to come back before dark, after all, this bonfire party is prepared for you."
"Alright, I'll run back in my true form!" Mo Li waved his hand and turned to disappear.
Mo Chen's face darkened. "This lecherous fox is getting more and more improper!"
What on earth happened to the Realm Lord that he took him in...?
Not long after Mo Li left, a messenger suddenly rushed over, "Strategist, have you seen General Wang?"
"What's the emergency?"
"This is a letter from General Hua, it's urgent!" the messenger said, panting heavily.
Mo Chen frowned slightly. "Give it to me."
Without hesitation, the messenger handed the letter directly to Mo Chen.
The letter was simple: it berated Wang Qiankun and left a message telling the bandits of Black Dragon Mountain to have a quick and easy fight!
Mo Chen's expression suddenly changed drastically as he read the contents of the letter.
——
Mulan is fully prepared for battle, with Cheng Jin protecting her closely on her right. Her spirited demeanor is quite different from her usual self.
Upon seeing only a small group of people, Mulan frowned slightly. "Why did you bring so few people?"
The number of people was neither too many nor too few; including Mulan and Cheng Jin, there were only twenty-two people.
"General Wang instructed that our mission this time is only to lure the enemy, so it's not convenient to bring too many people," Cheng Jin said with a smile.
Hua Mulan looked at these comrades whose names she didn't know, but who had resolute faces. Her brows furrowed, but she didn't doubt Cheng Jin's words. "Then let's go!"
Cheng Jin couldn't help but sneer.
Mulan sensed the atmosphere growing gloomy; no one spoke, it was too quiet!
These weren't her soldiers. Although her soldiers were free-spirited and undisciplined, they were all enthusiastic and always had endless topics to discuss...
Mulan frowned. They had already gone quite far from the camp before she realized the situation, and she immediately felt uneasy.
She began to suspect that these people were barbarians. But when had they infiltrated the area? Mulan became a little nervous and subconsciously gripped her spear tighter.
Upon seeing this, Cheng Jin smiled slightly and said, "Mulan, we've been traveling for so long, let's take a break."
Hua Mulan was slightly taken aback, looking at Cheng Jin with surprise. He used to call her General Hua, so why...?
Seeing the other soldiers behind her stop, Hua Mulan suddenly realized, "Cheng Jin! Who exactly are you?"
"Hmph, General, you've already guessed it, haven't you?" Cheng Jin chuckled wickedly.
Mulan frowned. "You're a barbarian!"
