"Mother, you're too kind. I was just passing through when I saw that all the sisters here were planning to stay. This is a small gift from me to you and my sisters. I hope you and my sisters like it." As she spoke, Xian'er gestured to the maid (Jin Mu Qingjiao) behind her to bring up the gold.
"Wow! So much gold!" the madam exclaimed excitedly. "Don't worry, fairy, the best room in this brothel is reserved for you."
"Then I'll have to trouble you, Mother," Xian'er said with a slight smile.
Suddenly, everyone fell silent. Two beautiful figures walked down from the second floor; they were Huayue and Xiaoyue.
Huayue and Xiaoyue both came downstairs with their luggage. When the madam saw this, her expression changed, and she hurriedly stepped forward and asked, "Miss Huayue, what are you doing?"
"Hua Yue is probably unable to dance because of her foot injury, so she has to go home." Hua Yue glared at Xian'er and said.
"No, even if you can dance, you have to be the top courtesan in the brothel, otherwise my brothel will be deserted!" The madam was getting anxious.
Hua Yue sneered, "How could there be no one here? I think the fairy is very suitable, even better than me! She is detached from worldly affairs, yet she can come and go here so calmly and freely. I suppose she wouldn't mind performing for money?"

The madam nodded excitedly, "That's great! I'll have someone prepare the room right away."
As Hua Yue walked downstairs and passed by Xian'er, Xian'er suddenly whispered, "A pheasant will always be a pheasant; it will never fly up to a branch and become a phoenix! It can never become a noble species!"
Hua Yue looked at Xian'er, wondering what kind of vicious heart lay hidden beneath that beautiful and noble exterior! However, Xian'er remained remarkably calm, without a trace of resentment, and instead spoke softly:
"Yes, I am a pheasant, but you, a fairy who descended from the heavens, can only be a substitute for me! So, fairy, enjoy this mortal life!"
Hua Yue turned and left without hesitation, a disdainful smile on her face.
Watching Hua Yue's retreating figure, Xian'er subconsciously clenched her fists: "You slut, one day I'll make you kneel down and beg me!"
Once outside the gate, Xiaoyue exclaimed excitedly, "Miss, that was so satisfying! Look how angry that fairy is..."
Before Xiaoyue could finish speaking, Huayue said, "Xiaoyue, try not to provoke her in the future."
"Huh? But she's not scary at all." Xiaoyue asked with a puzzled look.
"I know dance, but she knows martial arts. If she intends to kill me, we'll both leave this brothel!" Hua Yue recalled the look Xian'er gave her when she left, filled with deep hatred...
Xiaoyue turned pale with fright and dared not say anything more.
Seeing her terrified state, Hua Yue sighed, "Xiao Yue, you're sixteen now, the age to get married. I can't hold you back for the rest of your life. I'll give you some silver when we get home, and then you can go back to your hometown!"
Xiaoyue was stunned for a moment and then realized, "Miss, are you trying to get rid of me?"
“We are like sisters, but now, because of my impulsive actions, I have offended that woman who is neither immortal nor human. I can no longer let you stay by my side,” Hua Yue said with a serious expression.
Xiaoyue was a little scared and reluctant, but in the end she nodded and agreed.
With Xiaoyue gone, Huayue knew she was destined to return to that home... that empty home where no one was.
When I returned to my long-missed home, it was already dark. I looked up and suddenly saw the faint candlelight in the room.
"Who is it!" Hua Yue immediately tensed up. She picked up the stick that was placed aside and cautiously approached.
The tall shadow cast by the candlelight filled her with fear, but the thought of the secret she had kept hidden in her home for so many years made her unable to hold back any longer! She rushed into the room and, without even looking, attacked the man.
Bang bang bang—
"I'll beat you to death for trespassing!" Hua Yue shouted, waving the stick in her hand.
"Stop! Wait! No, don't hit me, cough cough...it's me..."
Upon hearing the voice, Hua Yue trembled violently and stopped moving. By the dim candlelight, she could finally make out the person's appearance. "Ah Kun? How... how is it you?"
Wang Qiankun sat on the ground, sweating profusely and panting heavily, and said helplessly, "Couldn't you have looked carefully before you hit me?"
Hua Yue helped him up, saying apologetically, "I'm sorry, I didn't know it was you..."
"You...cough cough..." Wang Qiankun turned his head away and coughed softly.
