Chapter 135 The Meaning of Loneliness

Mo Chen smiled wickedly, waved his hand, and the rope instantly disappeared.

Upon seeing this, Mu Qing pulled the steamed bun out of her mouth, turned around, and roared angrily, "What exactly do you want?! You made me your apprentice, and this is how you treat me? You tied me up here and starved me for a whole day and night, and didn't even give me a single piece of clothing. Don't you know it's cold on a snowy day?"

"You keep asking if I know I'm wrong? I've already told you by crying like this! You're still bullying me, really, really..."

Mo Han raised an eyebrow, looking at Mu Qing's slightly red eyes, without changing her attitude at all. "Since you know you were wrong, then obediently come back with me! If you run around on your own and get kidnapped by bad guys one day, I won't care about you!"

"You..." Mu Qing's tears fell uncontrollably, and she couldn't help but feel wronged as she said, "If you hadn't let that crazy woman Xian'er bully me and didn't care whether I lived or died, would I be so heartbroken! It's clearly your fault, so why are you blaming me? You're so annoying!"

Mo Han stared blankly at Mu Qing, listening to her innermost thoughts, and sighed helplessly, "I'm sorry, Mu Qing, I didn't consider your feelings. Tell me, what do you want?"

Upon hearing this, Mu Qing's face flushed red. "What? What do you mean, 'what'? Don't think that saying sorry can make up for the mistake of tying me up!"

Mo Han raised an eyebrow. "You don't listen to me at all and are running around in this forest. Of course I have to tie you up so you can quiet down and listen to me properly!"

Mu Qing's face turned red with anger. "You, you're just being domineering!"

Mo Han glared at Mu Qing and accused her, "As a disciple, not only do you distrust your own master, but you also expose my identity. What's the difference between this and betraying the sect! You even got caught cheating. You're utterly foolish!"

Mu Qing immediately lowered her head, a wicked glint in her eyes: "I just wanted to use Master's hand to teach that woman Xian'er a lesson, not betray Master!"

Mu Qing's thoughts reached Mo Han's consciousness, causing him to tremble and unable to help but say, "Mu Qing, you are my disciple, Mo Han. No one but me can order you around! No one can bully you!"

Mu Qing stared blankly at Mo Han. Despite her reluctance, she was moved by Mo Han's words! His deep purple eyes held a warmth she had never seen before, a tenderness that only appeared when looking at a loved one. She never imagined that Mo Han would have such feelings for her...

"division……"

Before Mu Qing could finish speaking, Mo Han pulled her into his arms. "Be careful!"

Mu Qing crashed directly into Mo Han's arms, and at that moment, a sharp dagger was stuck in the tree trunk where Mu Qing had just been standing.

Mo Han turned his head and looked into the depths of the forest, shouting angrily, "Who's there! Come out!"

"There's someone..." Mu Qing looked at the figure in the darkness of the forest with a look of great fear.

Mo Han pulled Mu Qing behind him, saying, "Hide behind me!"

Mu Qing blushed slightly and obediently hid behind Mo Han.

Mo Han looked around and finally pinpointed the location of the person hiding in the shadows. "What kind of skill is it to hide in the dark? Come out now!"

The figure that emerged from the shadows slowly approached the two, and their appearance became clear—it was none other than…

"Habien?!" Mu Qing looked at Habien who walked out with a surprised expression.

Habi's gaze was cold and indifferent. "Qing'er..."

Mu Qing was stunned. "Just now, it was you who attacked me? Why..."

Habi didn't answer Mu Qing, but turned her head and squinted at Mo Han, "Looks like you no longer need me to protect you in the shadows?"

"I..." Mu Qing lowered her head, not knowing what to do.

Mo Han raised an eyebrow. "Who is he?"

"He, he is..." Mu Qing looked embarrassed.

Habiq coldly declared, "I am her comrade-in-arms! And also her admirer!"

Mu Qing pursed her lips and didn't speak.

Mo Han felt a surge of unease as he sensed the warmth Mu Qing felt for Habi.

He turned and squinted at Habib, then raised his hand and pulled Mu Qing into his arms. With a wicked smile, he said, "I don't care if you're her comrade or not, or whose admirer you are. All I can tell you is that Qing'er is mine now!"

"Your people?" Habi narrowed his eyes, trying to see through Mo Han. His gaze was fixed on him. "You're from the Central Plains!"

Upon hearing this, Mu Qing quickly denied it, "He's not!"

But Mo Han smiled slightly and said, "So what if I am, and so what if I am not?"

Mu Qing turned pale with fright and frantically shook her head at Habib, "No, no, he really isn't from the Central Plains!"

Mo Han couldn't help but smile at Mu Qing's concern. This disciple was quite well-behaved!

Habi narrowed her eyes at the smug Mo Han, feeling an indescribable jealousy, but all she could say was, "Qing'er, I don't know who he is, but please don't forget our mission!"

"I...I understand." Mu Qing lowered her head and did not refute.

Habi took a deep breath. "Qing'er, the fact that you couldn't dodge my hidden weapon just now means you've fallen for this person, and you'll die! If he couldn't save you just now, it means he's not worthy of being with you, and he'll die! No matter the outcome, it seems I have to explain to the Grand Strategist!"

Upon hearing this, Mu Qing replied with a solemn expression, "I understand."

As Habib was about to turn and leave, Mo Han suddenly spoke up, "You think you can just come and go as you please? You probably don't take me seriously, do you?"

A murderous glint flashed in Habib's eyes as she turned to look at Mo Han. "For Qing'er's sake, I don't want to touch you. But if you're looking for death, I won't hesitate to send you on your way!"
