The ladder to the heavens, connected to the clouds, was shrouded in a gloomy atmosphere that instilled despair. Mo Chen walked alone towards the top of the ladder...

"I don't remember when you said I wasn't allowed to get involved. All I know is that I saw a woman on the verge of becoming a bitter, resentful wife complaining to me!"
Mo Li looked at Mo Chen with disdain and continued, "You may be free now, but I haven't said I'll forgive you!"
"You..." Mo Chen looked at Mo Li speechlessly. What exactly did this guy want to do?! If he wanted to save her, couldn't he just come up with a plan quickly instead of being so long-winded?!
Just then, a woman whose face was obscured among the ten figures warned, "Who are you? Unrelated persons, please leave immediately, lest divine punishment descend and destroy you completely!"
Mo Li turned to the figure who had spoken and said, "I am Mo Li, one of the Punishers of the Nine Springs Realm."
"Mo Li? You're that little guy who stabilized two worlds right after becoming a Punisher?" A rough but polite voice spoke.
Mo Li bowed respectfully to the burly figure who spoke, "It is indeed I."
"Although you are the Punisher, the matter of punishing companion weapons is none of your concern. Please step back!"
Mo Li stood up, looked at the figure in front of her, shook her head, and said firmly, "The reason I am here is because of Mo Chen. I believe that the responsibility for this matter does not lie entirely with Mo Chen!"
"What?"
Not only were the ten people astonished, but even Mo Chen didn't understand Mo Li's meaning.
"Having your soul corrupted by a demonic mark is a grave taboo. You, kid, are not qualified to plead for him!"
Before Mo Li could speak, an aged voice suddenly rang out: "Boy, don't think that just because you're the Punisher you can interfere with the might of the Nine Springs Heaven!"
Seeing that everyone had turned their attention to Mo Li, Mo Chen hurriedly pulled Mo Li aside and said, "This matter is all due to Mo Chen's lack of resolve. I, Mo Chen, am willing to accept the punishment!"

Mo Li stared blankly at Mo Chen, listening as he continued, "Mo Li, do you know what I hate most is your overflowing sympathy! Do you think Mulan can't live without you? Do you think I can't complete the mission without your help? Or do you think becoming the Punisher makes you a great person! Look at the ending, Mulan still owes everything to you..."

Mo Li leaped up and bumped into Mo Chen's head, both of them staggering back several steps.
Mo Chen felt dizzy and lightheaded after being bumped by Mo Li. He was about to yell at her, "You bastard..."
Suddenly, Mo Chen looked up and saw a bloody mark on Mo Li's forehead. He immediately swallowed the words he wanted to say.
Mo Li raised her hand and wiped the blood off her face indifferently. She looked at Mo Chen and said softly, "Mo Chen, although we were enemies at first, when I joined the Nine Springs Realm, I truly put aside our past grievances and treated you as a friend!"
Mo Chen stared blankly at Mo Li, pursed his lips, and remained silent.
