Hearing Gu Yixian's exclamation from inside the room, Xiao Hu trembled with fright. He curiously peeked inside and his face turned ashen. He saw that Gu Liyan was covered in blood, his fingernails were unusually sharp, and what was even more surprising was that he had fox ears!
Xiao Hu was so frightened he almost fell to the ground. It turned out that this older brother was actually a monster! Without thinking, he ran out of Gu Yixian's house.
After running all the way, Xiao Hu unknowingly returned to his doorstep. Just as he was about to go inside, he suddenly realized that he had brought back Gu Liyan's jade flute.
Xiao Hu looked down at the jade flute in his hand, a strange light flashing in his eyes. He thought to himself, "Since he's a demon, it's not too much for me to secretly take something from a demon, is it?"

As she spoke, Gu Yixian covered her mouth and began to sob.
Hearing Gu Yixian's sobs, Gu Liyan took her hand and comforted her, "Yiyi, you don't need to worry about me. I am a demon, I will not die."
"You're talking in your sleep! Who in this world doesn't die? You're not a god!" Gu Yixian choked up.
Gu Liyan was about to say something, but he immediately shut his mouth upon hearing Gu Yixian's crying.
Suddenly, Gu Liyan remembered that Xiao Hu was still at the door, so she immediately changed the subject, "Yiyi, go check on Xiao Hu, he's still outside!"
"Oh, right! I almost forgot!" Gu Yixian remembered Xiao Hu, hurriedly got up, wiped the tears from her face, and ran out.
But when she stepped outside, the area was completely empty, and there was no sign of Xiaohu at all! Gu Yixian looked around the deserted courtyard and hurriedly searched everywhere, but still found nothing.
Gu Liyan, who was dozing in bed, waited for a long time but Gu Yixian did not return, and he began to worry.
He slowly sat up, reaching towards the door while calling out to Gu Yixian:

Hearing Gu Liyan's voice from inside the room, Gu Yixian rushed back. Seeing him get out of bed despite his injuries, she immediately said with displeasure, "Why are you up again?"
As she spoke, she helped Gu Liyan and pressed him back onto the bed.
"I didn't hear your voice and was worried something might have happened to you, so I had to come find you," Gu Liyan said with a smile. "But thankfully, you're alright."
Gu Yixian sighed, "Fine, fine, I get it. As long as I say something to you, you'll have all sorts of reasons to refute me, leaving me speechless."
Upon hearing Gu Yixian's words, Gu Liyan simply changed the subject, "Yiyi, is Xiaohu next to you?"
Gu Yixian shook her head and said, "It seems that Xiaohu has already left."
Gu Liyan frowned slightly. "Gone?"
Gu Liyan stroked his chin and thought for a moment, "Why did that kid leave? Did he just see something...?"
Seeing Gu Liyan frown, Gu Yixian became worried. "Could he have gone back? What if his father beats him..."
Gu Liyan raised his head and looked around, but he couldn't sense the aura of the Jade Flute Long Sorrow. His expression immediately changed.
Seeing this, Gu Yixian asked worriedly, "Xiao Li, what's wrong?"
Gu Liyan shook his head. "It's nothing, it's just that Xiao Hu took my flute with him."

Xiao Hu pushed open the door and entered the room, where he saw four people sitting around the table drinking.
At the head of the group was a masked man, whose scarlet lips and fiery eyes looked terrifying!
When Xiao Hu saw this person, he couldn't help but shrink back.
"You little brat, you finally know how to come back!" Seeing Xiao Hu walk in, the skinny Zhang Xiang pointed at Xiao Hu and cursed, "You ungrateful wretch, you dared to run away from home! I've wasted my time raising you!"
Xiao Hu's face turned red with anger. "It was my mother who raised me, not you!"
"Hey, you little brat, how dare you talk back to me! I'll teach you a lesson!" Zhang Xiang rolled up his sleeves and said.
