Lightning ripped through the darkness, leaving charred marks on the earth's surface and emitting a pungent odor.
Gu Liyan escaped from the depths of the forest and ran forward without looking back.
A moment later, a disheveled figure covered in ice shards ran out of the forest. Upon closer inspection, it was Lei Dong, who had been fighting against Gu Liyan.
Seeing Gu Liyan already running far away, Lei Dong was furious and shouted in Gu Liyan's direction, "Damn it! If you've got the guts, don't run away!"
Gu Liyan turned her head and glanced at Lei Dong, who was following closely behind, and couldn't help but smile, "Looks like your speed isn't that great either!"
"You demon fox, don't run! I'll tear you to pieces!" Lei Dong transformed into a bolt of lightning, hurtling towards Gu Liyan with lightning speed!
Gu Liyan ran towards the depths of the dense forest. The sharp light behind him was getting closer and closer. Suddenly, he leaped and dodged to the other side.
Lei Dong transformed into human form and appeared before Gu Liyan. "Demon fox, where do you think you can hide?"
Gu Liyan squinted at Lei Dong, then suddenly smiled. "What a fool! Haven't you realized yet? You've already fallen into my territory. You're the one who can't escape!"
As he spoke, Gu Liyan raised his arm, and frost spread around him, radiating outwards from Lei Dong.
"It's the Mystic Ice Domain again! You wretched fox demon, do you think you're invincible under this domain? Don't even think about succeeding!" Lei Dong charged towards Gu Liyan in a fit of rage.
Gu Liyan narrowed his eyes slightly and suddenly retreated.
Immediately, with a turn of his hand seal, the surrounding ice and snow suddenly descended, and the cold wind swept in like a storm. The latter couldn't help but shiver all over, and his body was covered with layers of ice.
Lei Dong's body was stiff, and he had no strength left to fight.
Gu Liyan breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing Lei Dong frozen in ice, but at this moment, the energy within his body was almost completely depleted.
"You can run away on the first day of the month, but can you run away on the fifteenth?"
Upon hearing this, Gu Liyan immediately raised her head and looked at the masked man not far away, her heart tightening instantly.
The masked man stood on a tree branch, gazing at Gu Liyan from afar. Looking at Gu Liyan's pale face, he had already guessed that Gu Liyan was no longer able to resist!

The masked man narrowed his eyes and said coldly, "Little fox, a wise man submits to circumstances. Don't do anything foolish because of your emotions and ruin your own and others' future!"
Gu Liyan clenched his fists and said coldly, "I've said it before, and I mean it!"
"Is that so... then there's nothing we can do..."
The masked man raised his hand, and six chains immediately emerged from his back, giving Gu Liyan no chance to think or dodge, and directly wrapped around Gu Liyan's body.
Looking at the bound Gu Liyan, the masked man couldn't help but laugh. "Heh, it seems your energy is completely depleted! How does it feel to be a prisoner, little fox?"
Gu Liyan coldly rolled her eyes at the masked man. "Even if you capture me, what you want will not belong to you!"
The masked man raised an eyebrow. "You talk as if you know me so well. Do you already know what I want?"
"The key to the passage, is it?" Gu Liyan sneered. "Unfortunately, the key isn't with me!"
The masked man's face immediately turned cold, and he grabbed Gu Liyan by the throat. "Little fox, you'd better hand over the key, or I'll make you wish you were dead!"
Gu Liyan burst into laughter, "Hahaha, everyone in the Nine Springs is living a life worse than death. You think you can threaten me with that? Don't even dream about it!"
The masked man's face was grim. He shoved Gu Liyan aside, his vicious crimson eyes flashing with terrifying killing intent as he stared intently at Gu Liyan. "Aren't you afraid I'll beat you to a pulp?"
"Heh, I was ready from the day I became the Punisher!" Gu Liyan smiled, showing no fear whatsoever.

Looking into Gu Liyan's fierce eyes, the masked man had no choice but to give up on using threats. "Fine! Fine! You fox demon, you are indeed different from other Punishers! I really underestimated you! But... I'd like to see... how many days you can last in my hands!"
As soon as he finished speaking, a ball of crimson demonic fire suddenly appeared in the masked man's palm. Looking at this ball of demonic fire, the corners of his mouth turned up, revealing an evil smile.
Gu Liyan immediately sensed something was wrong. Before he could escape, the masked man's crimson ghost fire struck him directly—
