The cold cage was filled with the scent of wild beasts, and the pungent stench of blood assaulted the senses.
The scent wafting from Gu Liyan's nose made him frown. As his consciousness gradually returned, he slowly opened his eyes and looked around, only to find himself in a huge cage. He raised his hand, only to find that both his hands and feet were bound by iron chains as thick as his arms.
“This is…” Gu Liyan frowned slightly and tugged at the heavy iron chains on his body.
"Awake?" An Qianbai sat outside the iron cage, calmly sipping her tea. She looked at Gu Liyan, who had just woken up, and smiled slightly as she spoke.
The voice, tinged with ruthlessness and coldness, made Gu Liyan stare blankly at An Qianbai, momentarily forgetting how to speak.
The woman before him was dressed in a long red dress, heavily made up and incredibly alluring, just like the Hua Baixian he remembered who had once betrayed the Heavenly Palace.
"What? Are you completely mesmerized by my new makeup?" An Qianbai sneered as she looked at Gu Liyan, who was staring at her in a daze.
Before Gu Liyan could speak, he immediately curled up and squatted down. For some reason, his chest hurt terribly, causing him to groan in pain.
An Qianbai narrowed her eyes and said coldly, "What? Are you trying to play the victim with me? Is it possible that the moment I open the cage, you can knock me unconscious and then escape?"
Gu Liyan choked, and was stunned, not knowing how to respond to her words.
"What? Are you embarrassed to be exposed?" An Qianbai sneered.
The brief pain quickly subsided, and Gu Liyan slowly straightened up, looking at An Qianbai with an indifferent face as cold as an iceberg.
Gu Liyan's throat moved slightly, but he didn't have the slightest courage to speak, "What...what do you want?"
"Pfft—hahahaha, Gu Liyan, have you become so humble? Or are you planning to become my contracted beast?" Looking at Gu Liyan's humble expression, An Qianbai couldn't help but laugh out loud.
Gu Liyan stood up and walked towards An Qianbai. Standing in front of her, gazing at her beautiful and captivating face, it was as if he were seeing Hua Baixian's face again from another world...
Gu Liyan couldn't help but raise his slender fingers and gently stroke her face. He could clearly see a hint of tenderness in An Qianbai's cold expression.

An Qianbai squinted at An Qianshan and said calmly, "Why are you here?"
An Qianshan smiled slightly and looked at Gu Liyan, saying, "I heard you captured an interesting fox demon, so you brought people here specifically to see it! What? Aren't you welcome?"
An Qianbai's expression changed drastically as he looked at the group of people behind him, all of whom were staring at Gu Liyan with burning eyes.
"What a handsome young man! He makes my heart flutter!" The fair-skinned man in white said, staring at Gu Liyan with slightly narrowed eyes.
"You Qingge Hall have plenty of people like you, why are you still thinking about taking other people's things?" Yan Mu, exuding a fiery aura, sneered.
Yan Mu immediately recognized Gu Liyan's origins. The coldness emanating from Gu Liyan made him speak angrily, "You brat, you're the one Yi Ge has been looking for, right? I didn't expect you to be a demon. How dare you impersonate someone from my Yi Zhe Alliance! You're incredibly audacious!"
As he spoke, a wave of heat rose up, causing everyone to break out in a sweat.
"Carrying a stove around in this sweltering heat is such a downer!" a charming and alluring voice said.
Everyone looked in the direction of the sound and saw a stunningly beautiful woman dressed in black approaching. She was wearing a black veil, but her exquisite face could be vaguely seen.
Gu Liyan looked at her with a curious expression.
"This is a fox demon who can transform into human form? What a handsome young man!" The alluring and beautiful woman approached the cage, looking into Gu Liyan's innocent and naive eyes, and couldn't help but giggle. "Judging from this, little brother, you wouldn't have fallen for me, would you?"
