Gu Liyan nodded as he looked at the powerful life force emanating from the two of them. "They have a very strong life force, far exceeding yours. I think they must be! It's just... they are really a bit petite."

Xiao Long glared at Xiao Hu, signaling him to stop talking, and the latter quietly shut his mouth.
Xiao Long looked at Gu Liyan and asked, "It's truly enviable that your fox clan can transform into humans after nine hundred years of cultivation, but we have no connection with you, so why are you acting so presumptuously on our territory? If you can't give us a hundred reasons today, you can stay here!"
After saying that, Xiaolong exuded a powerful aura that rushed straight towards Gu Liyan.

After Gu Liyan finished speaking, he quietly looked at the two of them, waiting for their response.
After a while, Xiao Hu said impatiently, "Long! Are you done talking?"
Xiao Long snapped out of his reverie. "Oh, sorry, I was just spacing out. Could you say it again?"
Gu Liyan opened his mouth to repeat himself, but An Qianshan jumped out, looking displeased, and said:
"Why waste words with them? It's obvious they're unwilling to help! If I had known you demons were so cold-blooded and ruthless, I shouldn't have agreed to come with you to beg them! Let's go! Let's go to Xiaobai ourselves!"
As soon as he finished speaking, a cold glint flashed in Xiaolong's blue eyes. "So your claim of upholding righteousness was a pretense; your real intention was to save people! Hmph, I knew it. The fox clan is treacherous and cunning; they wouldn't be this simple! I never expected them to ally with the human race now. The world is truly going to the dogs!"
