After an unknown amount of time, the pain subsided temporarily. An Qianbai sat there blankly, looking at Gu Liyan, not daring to breathe too loudly, for fear of disturbing Gu Liyan.
Gu Liyan looked as if he had been pulled out of the water. Exhausted, he sat in the corner, so weak that even moving a finger was incredibly difficult for him.
If it weren't for the rise and fall of his chest, he would look as if he had just died!
"Sigh..." Gu Liyan sighed helplessly. He felt the death energy in his body constantly eroding his internal organs, as if it were about to tear his body apart.
Thinking of what Mo Han had said before, Gu Liyan's eyes filled with fear. The pain he was experiencing now was far from the agony of wishing he were dead, was it? If it really came to that, he really didn't know if he could survive!
"Waaaaah..."
Gu Liyan didn't continue thinking about it, but suddenly heard An Qianbai crying. He looked up and saw her wiping away her tears, and couldn't help but smile. "Mo Wang, is that right? Why are you crying? I'm not going to die..."
Hearing Gu Liyan say "death," An Qianbai cried even harder.
"Waaah..." An Qianbai sobbed, snot and tears streaming down her face. Anyone who saw Gu Liyan like this would feel sorry for her!
Anyway, she was so heartbroken she wanted to cry, and no one could stop her!
An Qianbai cried loudly, and Gu Liyan sighed helplessly, "Stop crying, okay? My head hurts!"
Hearing Gu Liyan's weak voice, An Qianbai quickly stopped crying and looked at Gu Liyan pitifully.
Looking at An Qianbai's obedient yet pitiful appearance, Gu Liyan couldn't help but laugh. "I really can't believe you're a prisoner... I guess you offended Mo Han, so he sent you here as a criminal, right?"
An Qianbai was stunned, not expecting that Gu Liyan had guessed almost correctly. She nodded angrily: Yes! It's that bastard!
Gu Liyan couldn't help but laugh out loud, "Haha, if he sees you being disrespectful to him, I wonder how he'll punish you!"
An Qianbai rolled her eyes, looking completely unconcerned.
Gu Liyan saw her expression, smiled slightly, and leaned against the wall. "I used to have the ability to see through people's thoughts, but suddenly losing that ability makes me feel really uneasy. It feels like... everyone is plotting against me!"
Hearing Gu Liyan's words, An Qianbai felt inexplicably disappointed. If Gu Liyan possessed the Soul Painting Eyes now, he would be able to recognize her identity at a glance!
"Mo Wang, I apologize for doubting you before," Gu Liyan said softly.
An Qianbai looked at Gu Liyan with surprise. His eyes were clear, but they were tired.
An Qianbai remained motionless and silent, simply watching Gu Liyan.
Gu Liyan muttered to herself, "I'm so confused right now. I can't figure out what Mo Han is thinking at all. Is he a good person or a bad person?"
Gu Liyan sighed, and as he thought about it, he fell asleep. Seeing this, An Qianbai covered Gu Liyan with his clothes, and then sat in front of him, gazing at his face intently.
Returning to the vast ocean, this place has been given a name—the Sea of Death!
Compared to before, this place is now much darker.
Upon entering this world, Gu Liyan immediately called out the names of Yin and Yang: "Yin and Yang! Come out quickly!"
As soon as the words were spoken, a flash of light appeared behind him, and a black and white lotus flower emerged, accompanied by the voice of Yin and Yang:
"What are you yelling about? I'm just a product of your consciousness. You can appear in front of me with a single thought. Why would you ask me to come out on my own?"
Gu Liyan turned his head and breathed a sigh of relief when he saw the lotus emerging from the pond. He felt as if he had grasped a lifeline and hurriedly asked, "Don't talk about that. Yin Yang, I feel the aura of death is eroding my body. Do you have any way to control it?"
"control?"
Yin Yang pondered for a moment, then the lotus leaf lifted slightly, as if sizing up Gu Liyan.
Gu Liyan looked at him with a puzzled expression. "How is it? Is there any way to solve it?"
"Ha! Are you kidding me? The space you're in right now is sealed off by an invisible force, and you've even released your own death domain. You're clearly courting death! I advise you to stop your supernatural powers right away, otherwise, the misfortune will not only affect you, but also those around you!" Yin Yang said with disdain and annoyance.
"What Death Domain? When did I release the Death Domain?!" Gu Liyan looked completely bewildered.
"Foolish! You've been using too much life energy lately, releasing so much of your life domain. Naturally, your death domain couldn't resist emerging. Besides, haven't you heard the saying? Life and death go hand in hand! Everything in this world that is born must die. As two energies that are balancing within you, they both generate and restrain each other, so how could one of them appear alone!"
Gu Liyan was speechless after Yin Yang's words, and that wasn't all; Yin Yang simply cut to the chase:
"Now that you've used the Domain of Life for someone else, the Domain of Death will naturally return to you! If you want to court death, then use the Domain of Life more often! Anyway, once you die, I can find another host!"
Upon hearing Yin Yang's words, Gu Liyan suddenly realized, "So that's how it is. No wonder my chest hurts so much every time I use the Domain of Life..."
However, he immediately realized what was happening and pointed at the yin-yang energy, cursing, "You dare to curse me! You won't benefit from my death!"
"Ah, it seems you still don't understand the definition of life and death! You haven't even grasped the laws of this world! You're utterly foolish!" Yin Yang mocked. "I'm just a spirit parasitizing the energy of death, living and dying with it. It has nothing to do with you!"
