That night, Gu Liyan and the other two returned to the Lu family home, only to find that there was no place for them to stay. Even Lu Yunshan had set up a makeshift bed on the floor in the living room.
Lu Rui looked at Li Jun and Li Xiu lying on the sofa, his expression somewhat unpleasant. He pulled Li Fengying aside and whispered, "Mom, why did you let them stay at home instead of going to a hotel?"
"You child, you don't know how hard it is to earn money if you don't work. That hotel is so expensive! Besides, it's not like we can't fit everyone in the house!" Li Fengying said, somewhat displeased.
Hearing his mother say that he wasn't earning money, Lu Rui's face darkened even more, but he held back because of Gu Liyan and the others.

“What can we do? Your sisters have had a tough life, getting divorced and raising children alone…” Li Fengying frowned. “Why don’t you and your friend find a small hotel to stay in? It’s only 20 yuan a day there. You can get a room and make do for a few days.”

"What? My mom lets you stay in my room?" Lu Rui looked incredulous.
Has his mother forgotten that she doesn't like people with body odor sleeping in her bed?
Enraged, Lu Rui immediately roared, "Who gave you permission to stay in my room without my permission! Get down here!"
Seeing Lu Rui's bloodshot eyes and his voice cracking from shouting, Lan Yu was so frightened that she hurriedly got off the bed, but still argued:
"My great-aunt already said I could stay here, so why can't you let me stay? Who do you think you are!"

Lan Yu scratched her ear and pursed her lips, then took her phone back to the sofa to continue playing games. Li Xiu and Li Jun, who were on the sofa, came over nonchalantly and helped Li Fengying up, saying, "Auntie, why are you crying? At worst, you can just get a divorce. Lu Yunshan can't even afford a house, why are you still with him!"
"That's right. With your education and looks, you can still make a lot of money even if you leave the Lu family."
