Lu Rui's lips curled up slightly. "Your Wang family? You make it sound so nice. You were adopted, and now you're someone else's wife. Do you even consider yourself a member of the Wang family anymore?"

Gu Liyan looked at Lu Rui, whose complexion was rosy and radiant, and who looked quite divine. He immediately took out the mission scroll from his bosom and couldn't help but smile, "I didn't expect the source of life and death to be found so easily!"

Turning her head, Lin Qianmo glanced at the closed door and coldly asked, "How did you get in?"
"I came in through the skylight," Gu Liyan said truthfully.
"what you up to?"
"I... I think you seem to be sick, and I'd like to take a look at you," Gu Liyan said hurriedly.
Lin Qianmo pushed Gu Liyan to the ground. "Do you think it's okay to enter someone else's room without the owner's permission?"
Gu Liyan rubbed his arm. "No, I just wanted to see you..."
"Looking at me?" Lin Qianmo interrupted Gu Liyan. "You're not here to kill me to silence me, are you? After all, I know you trespassed on private property."
Gu Liyan glared at Lin Qianmo. "What are you thinking? Why would I kill you? Do you think I'm that kind of person?"
"Then what can you do for me by coming to me?" Lin Qianmo looked at Gu Liyan with a suspicious expression.

"So you're trying to find me a partner because we're destined to be together? Heh, you could just say you want to pursue me!" Lin Qianmo said with a smile.
"Cough cough cough..." Gu Liyan almost choked to death. "What are you thinking? I have someone I like!"
Lin Qianmo smiled slightly, "Yes, that makes sense, after all, you have that little girl with you."
