"A lecherous rogue?"
When Gu Liyan saw Murong Xiaoxiao pointing at him and talking about herself, he immediately frowned: Is she talking about me?
Murong Xiaoxiao strode up to Gu Liyan, slapped away his hand that was stroking her head, and angrily scolded:
"You filthy scoundrel! You big bastard! You shameless lecher, who gave you the right to touch my sister!"
Gu Liyan stared blankly at Murong Xiaoxiao: Girl, I admire you as a true man! Putting aside whether I'm a hooligan or not, please tell me if you're a pervert! Are you a man or a woman?
Seeing Gu Liyan looking at her strangely, Murong Xiaoxiao immediately knew what he was thinking and scolded, "You shameless scoundrel, how dare you have improper thoughts about me!"
Gu Liyan's lips twitched involuntarily upon hearing her words, and he felt a pang of resentment in his heart: I don't even know your gender, how could I possibly have any improper thoughts about you?
Gu Liyan was merely concerned because they resembled Mu Qing. However, Murong Xiaoxiao had no idea what Gu Liyan was thinking, and immediately shouted at the top of her lungs:
"How dare you touch my sister in broad daylight! Everyone come and see, you scoundrels of Central City!"
As soon as he shouted, Gu Liyan noticed that everyone around them was looking in their direction and slowly gathering around. Without hesitation, he turned around, threw a "Goodbye" at Murong Xiaoxiao, and then leaped onto the roof. He waved to the two women and disappeared from the rooftop, running away.
Seeing Gu Liyan nimbly leave, Murong Xiaoxiao stomped her feet in anger, yelling, "That scoundrel!"
He then turned to Murong Xiaoxiao and angrily scolded, "Xiaoxiao, he treated you so disrespectfully, why didn't you fight back?"
Murong Xiaoxiao ate a lollipop, smacked her lips, and said, "Sister, what are you worried about? That big brother is a nice person. He gave me this, and it's really delicious!"
As he spoke, he shook the lollipop in his hand.
Murong Xiaoxiao scolded angrily, "Call me Big Brother! How many times have I told you? You still can't remember! You greedy cat, you were actually bribed by a snack!"
Murong Xiaoxiao stuck out her tongue and continued eating her lollipop, completely ignoring Murong Xiaoxiao's complaints.
They are twins. Murong Xiaoxiao, the older sister, was born just one minute later than her, and Murong Xiaoxiao cannot accept her parenting style.
Seeing that her educational methods were completely ineffective, Murong Xiaoxiao glared angrily at Murong Xiaoxiao. Suddenly, she looked at her and seemed to remember something, then asked Xiaoxiao, "Didn't you say that the compass was acting strangely and that there might be a monster in the Central City? Did you find the monster?"
Upon hearing Murong Xiaoxiao's words, Murong Xiaoxiao immediately spat out the lollipop and looked for her compass. However, after searching for a long time, she couldn't find it and exclaimed, "Ah! My compass is gone!"
Seeing Murong Xiaoxiao rummaging through her body for a long time without finding the compass, Murong Xiaoxiao guessed that the compass had been stolen by Gu Liyan, and immediately flew into a rage and started cursing:
"That lecherous rogue, I never imagined he was not only a hooligan but also a thief! Did he really think the Murong family's possessions were so easy to steal? I'll issue a warrant for his arrest in the Central City and teach him a lesson!"
Murong Xiaoxiao ate a lollipop; the sweet taste gradually calmed her tense anger. She waved her hand dismissively and said nonchalantly:
"Oh well, what's done is done. Out with the old, in with the new. I was just about to replace it anyway. Besides, the older brother gave me something delicious in exchange, so it shouldn't count as stealing, right?"
Hearing Murong Xiaoxiao's words, Murong Xiaoxiao angrily pointed at her and said irritably, "You spendthrift! Can this food compare to your magic artifact? At this critical time, magic artifacts are naturally more important than anything else! Besides, this is a matter of face, concerning the dignity of my Murong family, and we absolutely cannot let it go like this!"
Murong Xiaoxiao pouted nonchalantly, continuing to eat her lollipop with obvious delight: "Then you can go find him yourself, I'm going back!"
After saying that, she waved her hand and walked in one direction. Seeing Murong Xiaoxiao leave, Murong Xiaoxiao behind her heaved with anger.
Murong Xiaoxiao took a few steps, then suddenly turned into a small alley. As soon as she turned in, she saw Gu Liyan jump down from the wall.
The two looked at each other, and Murong Xiaoxiao chuckled, "What a coincidence, we meet again!"
Upon seeing Murong Xiaoxiao, Gu Liyan was slightly taken aback, his eyes widening as he pointed at her, speechless.
"You, you..."
What are you doing here?!
Murong Xiaoxiao squinted at Gu Liyan, her gaze as cunning as a little fox's. She chuckled and said, "My magic artifact has my magic power, so of course I know where it is. Who told you, you silly little fox, to carry it around all the time!"
Gu Liyan took out the compass in his hand and couldn't help but smile bitterly, "I thought that if I took your compass, you wouldn't be able to find me, but I didn't expect that my cleverness would backfire!"
Gu Liyan smiled and spoke, then handed the compass in his hand to Murong Xiaoxiao, preparing to return it to her.
Murong Xiaoxiao didn't take it immediately. Instead, she was attracted by Gu Liyan's hands. Looking at Gu Liyan's fair and slender hands, her eyes lit up and she couldn't help but exclaim enviously, "Wow! Your hands are so beautiful!"
As she spoke, Murong Xiaoxiao tucked her scarred hand under her sleeve.
Gu Liyan was taken aback and noticed her actions. He chuckled and teased, "I am the most beautiful fox in the world, so of course I am flawless!"
Murong Xiaoxiao covered her mouth and laughed, "You're so narcissistic!"
"You don't believe me?" Gu Liyan raised an eyebrow.
"I don't believe it!" Murong Xiaoxiao looked up at Gu Liyan with a dazed expression.
