As the music ended, the crowd erupted in cheers and applause.
"Full to the brim!"
Qingqing smiled slightly, raised her slender hand, and a group of servants came out carrying red dust.
Qingqing approached the crowd, bowed slightly, pointed to the wine in the servant's hand behind her, and stood respectfully with a smile, looking at everyone.
Gu Liyan looked at Qingqing with some surprise and doubt, "Could it be that... she can't speak?"
Gu Liyan still remembers the time when she couldn't speak, as if she had lost contact with the outside world, feeling lonely and in pain.
"I'll offer a thousand taels!"
"Ten thousand taels!"
"One hundred thousand!"
Hearing the crowd bidding, Cao Jin, not to be outdone, raised his hand and shouted:
"I'll offer ten million!"
Upon hearing his words, everyone's gaze turned to Cao Jin. The man in the spotlight stood up triumphantly, looking at Qing Qing with an arrogant air, "You are mine tonight!"
"Is this guy crazy?"
"It seems he doesn't know the rules of the Wind and Dust Restaurant!"
"Do you really think this is a brothel? You think you can lay a finger on Miss Qingqing?"
Qingqing's face looked rather pale, her brows furrowed, her pitiful appearance evoking pity in anyone who saw her.
Cao Jin squinted at Qingqing, his heart filled with joy. "You're mine! I'm going to buy you!"
Qingqing frowned, pursing her dry lips, unable to refuse. Today was her turn to host, and the Drunken Old Man and the dancers wouldn't be coming down to help.
"How dare you! You're so disrespectful to Miss Qingqing!"
A fan who was passionate about Qingqing in the audience was immediately unhappy and stood up to defend Qingqing. However, he regretted it as soon as he finished speaking. Cao Jin's guards surrounded him and threw him out in no time.
Cao Jin ignored the guy and went straight to the stage. "You're Miss Qingqing, right? Would you be willing to be my woman?"
Qingqing looked at him, too nervous to know what to say.
Seeing this, Cao Jin smiled wickedly, "If you don't speak, I'll assume you're..."
"I disagree!" A pleasant voice suddenly interrupted Cao Jin's confession ceremony.
Everyone looked up and saw a figure in white walking down from the second floor.
When she saw Gu Liyan step forward, Qingqing's face lit up with joy, but she was also worried. She didn't want Gu Liyan to stand up for her.
"Who are you?" Cao Jin looked at Gu Liyan, who was more handsome than him, and immediately turned cold, staring at Gu Liyan as he spoke.
"I am also a dancer at the Fengchen Restaurant, Gu Liyan!" Gu Liyan clasped her hands in a salute.
"You?" Cao Jin squinted and said, "This is none of your business. Get lost!"
“If Young Master Cao Jin wants my sister to be your woman, then it’s none of my business,” Gu Liyan said with a smile.
"How...how do you know my name?" Cao Jin looked at Gu Liyan with a panicked expression.
Gu Liyan smiled faintly, and said neither humbly nor arrogantly:
"Young Master Cao is the most prominent young master of the Weilong Kingdom. Who doesn't know him? He has come to the Shuyi Kingdom today for the sake of the country and its people, not for a beautiful woman, right?"
Cao Jin looked at Gu Liyan with a hint of fear in his eyes.
Gu Liyan leaned close to Cao Jin's ear and whispered, "If you don't want your father to drag you back, you'd better go back obediently! Your father is very afraid of my anger!"
As he spoke, Gu Liyan took out the Nine Springs Token and showed it to him. Upon seeing the "Nine Springs Token," Cao Jin's expression changed slightly, and he stopped talking nonsense. "Alright, I'm leaving!"
Gu Liyan chuckled and called out to Cao Jin:
"Wait! You haven't left the money for the drinks!"
Cao Jin, with a cold face, told the guard to leave the money and then turned to leave.
Gu Liyan smiled slightly and prepared to return to the second floor. Just as he brushed past Qingqing, he suddenly heard her say, "Thank you!"
Gu Liyan was startled, staring at Qingqing in astonishment. Not only was she not mute, but her voice was so familiar—
It's the Flower Fairy!
