Gu Liyan affectionately rubbed against Qingqing's hand.
Just then, there was a knock on the door.

Qingqing gritted her teeth and decided not to give it to her. Just as she was about to turn her head, another person suddenly appeared in the room...

Qingqing looked at Gu Liyan with some doubt. How could she have gone to the wrong place even though she knew it was just a wall away?
“By the way, this young lady looks unfamiliar…” Gu Liyan looked at Lan Ying with a puzzled expression.
"My name is Lan Ying, and what is yours, young master?" Lan Ying asked shyly, her eyes occasionally winking at Gu Liyan.
Gu Liyan chuckled. "Greetings, Miss Lan. My name is Gu Liyan. I just arrived at Fengchen Restaurant and am a little lost. Would you be so kind as to escort me back to the main hall?"
Lan Ying nodded hurriedly, "Okay, okay! Come with me."

Gu Liyan turned to leave, but Lan Ying's face suddenly turned cold. "Hey!"
Gu Liyan stopped and turned to look at Lan Ying with a puzzled expression. "Miss Lan, is there anything else?"
"Are you the seventh dancer hired by Master Weng?" Lan Ying looked at Gu Liyan with a half-smile.
Gu Liyan paused for a moment, then nodded. "I think so."
Lan Ying's lips curled up slightly. "Okay, I understand! I'll remember you too... Gu Liyan!"
After saying that, Lan Ying turned and left.
Gu Liyan frowned slightly:
"This little girl is so rude."
Gu Liyan did not go to the front hall, but returned the way he came, preparing to transform into a white fox again to find Qingqing.
But before he could get far back, he saw Huang Xi walking straight toward him.
"Ha! I finally caught you! You actually dared to hide from me!" Huang Xi said, hands on her hips.
Gu Liyan frowned. "What do you want?"
"Huh?" Huang Xi chuckled wickedly. "Are you afraid of me?"
"Afraid of you? I just find you annoying." Gu Liyan smiled calmly.
"Hey! Gu! Don't think I don't know what you're thinking. You've gone to great lengths to stay here, all to win the hearts of us sisters!" Huang Xi pointed at Gu Liyan and said, "I've never seen such a shameless guy like you!"
Gu Liyan's expression was unpleasant, and he looked at Huang Xi with a slightly cold gaze, "How could my face be compared to that of an ugly monster like you!"
"You, you..." Huang Xi pointed at Gu Liyan, unable to speak, her eyes reddening and tears falling. "You actually said I'm ugly?! Gu Liyan, I hate you!"
After saying that, Huang Xi covered her face and ran away.
Gu Liyan was speechless. "How can there be a woman like this..."
Looking to the side unintentionally, Gu Liyan was surprised to find Qingqing standing in the corner watching him. Her face was gloomy and she looked at him with displeasure. Gu Liyan was happy and wanted to call out to her, but Qingqing glared at him and turned to leave.
Gu Liyan immediately became anxious and hurriedly said, "Miss Qingqing, wait a moment!"
Qingqing paused, thought for a moment, but decided not to stop and continued walking forward.
Gu Liyan leaped in front of her, startling Qingqing so much that her legs went weak and she fell to the ground. Gu Liyan reacted quickly and caught her in his arms, but the next second, Qingqing ruthlessly pushed him away.
