Chapter 353 Settled the Order

"Brother Gu, are you alright?" Li Hao asked with some concern.

Gu Liyan leaned back in her seat, and after resting for a while, she had recovered. She waved to Li Hao, "I'm fine."

Li Hao breathed a sigh of relief, then sat down in front of him with some anxiety. "I don't know when Second Aunt will come back. Once Second Aunt comes back and gets the medicinal ingredient, you can be cured, Brother Gu."

Gu Liyan smiled, but inexplicably turned her head towards the man in yellow not far away, and said in a voice that was neither too loud nor too soft, "The emperor is not worried, but the eunuch is. It's my own body, why are you so anxious?"

Upon hearing Gu Liyan's words, the man in yellow frowned slightly. Everyone held their breath at his frown. The middle-aged butler beside him made a move to get up, but was pressed back down by the man in yellow, who whispered, "Didn't you hear what he said?"

The emperor isn't worried, but the eunuch is. Why are you, a mere eunuch, so anxious? Eunuch Ruyi suddenly realized what was happening and lowered his head, not daring to make any move.

The man in yellow was Qingyang. He had heard that his elder sister would be selecting talented people at the Xianzhe Restaurant, so he came here incognito to see the selection criteria.

A moment later, Xiao Lü brought over tea and snacks. "Young master, these are our shop's signature tea and snacks, please enjoy."

Li Hao's eyes widened as he stared intently at Xiao Lü, completely ignoring the tea and snacks.

Gu Liyan smiled slightly, sniffing the aroma of tea as he spoke, "I don't feel like drinking tea today. I wonder what the wine at the restaurant is like? I'd like to try it!"

"Okay." Little Green nodded with a smile.

Li Hao snapped out of his daze and hurriedly said, "No, Brother Gu, your body..."

Gu Liyan raised her hand, signaling him not to continue, and instead said, "I just haven't had a drink in a long time, and I wanted to satisfy my craving with the aroma of alcohol!"

Li Hao nodded and said, "Oh, okay then."

“We have a lot of wine here. Which one would you like, young master?” Xiao Lü asked with a smile.

Gu Liyan's lips curled up slightly. "We're here to savor the aroma, so naturally we should have a small cup of each one!"

Xiao Lü's smile widened even more. "Young master, there's a kind of wine that's very expensive..."

Gu Liyan interrupted her with a smile, "I think it shouldn't be as expensive as Red Dust Wine, right? Besides..."

“Even if it’s mortal wine, I still have the money to have a bowl!” Gu Liyan turned to Qingyang and said with a fox-like smile.

Upon hearing this, Qingyang's hand trembled slightly. He raised his head and looked in Gu Liyan's direction, his inexplicable tremor like that of prey being watched.

Qingyang put down her cup and looked at Gu Liyan, thinking to herself: Is he staring at me?

Upon hearing the name "Red Dust Wine," Xiao Lü looked at Gu Liyan with some surprise and hurriedly said, "Young Master, you have been rude. I will prepare it for you immediately."

Xiao Lü left in a hurry, and Li Hao looked at Gu Liyan with some doubt, "Brother Gu, is that Red Dust Wine very expensive?"

"It's more than just expensive! It's practically a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!" Qingyang exclaimed before Gu Liyan could even speak.

Li Hao looked at Qingyang in surprise, "So expensive? How much?"

"Money cannot measure its value; we only sell ten bowls a day!" Gu Liyan said with a smile.

"Huh? That must be incredibly expensive, right?" Li Hao asked, dumbfounded.

"No, no, the Red Dust Wine is for those who are destined to obtain it. If one is destined, one tael is enough!" Qingyang stood up and came to Gu Liyan's side, smiling as he spoke. "However, the bidding started from one tael and in the end, the owner of the price only set the price at the maximum of 99 taels."

Li Hao was even more curious: "Why is there a price cap in the auction? I think the owner is either sick or stupid!"

Gu Liyan's face darkened: The master you're talking about is me!

Qingyang smiled slightly. "My name is Feng Yang. May I ask how this young master is addressed?"

Gu Liyan's lips curled up. "I wonder if Young Master Yang is referring to your real name or a nickname like yours?"

Qingyang was slightly taken aback and couldn't help but smile wryly. "At least let me know how to address you, right?"

“Mo Li,” Gu Liyan said.

"Mo Li? I just heard this kid call you Brother Gu?" Qingyang said with a smile. "Could it be that your surname is Gu and your given name is Mo Li?"

Gu Liyan smiled slightly, "Feng Qingyang and Xia Weiyang, I wonder if Young Master Feng is Weiyang or Qingyang?"

Qingyang's eyelids twitched, realizing that Gu Liyan had already seen through her identity.

Li Hao waved his hand, "Brother Gu, Qingyang is the ruler of our Weilong Kingdom. You must be joking with me again!"

Gu Liyan laughed heartily, "Yes, I didn't expect you to have seen through me!"

Qingyang's expression changed slightly, and he was certain in his heart: Mo Li must have seen through his identity!

At this moment, Xiao Lü carried a glass of wine upstairs. When she arrived at Gu Liyan's table and saw Qingyang there, she was so startled that she almost threw the wine out of her hand.

"Little Green Girl, are you alright?" Li Hao asked with concern.

Xiao Lü glanced at Qing Yang furtively and said awkwardly, "No, it's nothing."

Placing the wine glass on the table, before he could even begin to introduce the wines, Gu Liyan twitched his nose and exclaimed, "It seems that Weilong Kingdom is truly a wonderful place for brewing wine! Each of these twelve types of wine is a fine brew!"

Xiao Lü looked at Gu Liyan with some surprise, really wondering if he was blind!

"Brother Gu, not only has your hearing improved, but your sense of smell has improved too?" Li Hao asked excitedly.

Gu Liyan smiled and said, "There's a saying I don't know if you've heard before: When God closes a window, he opens a door!"

Li Hao scratched his head. "I feel like I've heard of it before, but I also feel like I haven't. What does it mean?"

Qingyang and Xiaolu also looked at Gu Liyan with some curiosity.

Gu Liyan smiled and asked, "Then I'd like to ask you, what do you think defines a sage?"

Li Hao scratched his head. "A sage should mean a good person, right?"

Little Green shook her head. "A sage is someone with the highest wisdom."
