The rain poured down, coming so suddenly.
"This weather's been so weird lately! It was like a sauna a couple of days ago, and then suddenly it's spring again. Before I could even enjoy it, this torrential rain started!" Huang Xi grumbled, taking shelter under the eaves. "I wonder why Princess Qingge wanted to come to the palace at this hour?"
Huang Xi stood impatiently under the eaves waiting when he suddenly saw a white figure staggering along the corner of the wall at the opposite alley entrance. Upon closer inspection, he realized it was a small white dog.

Huang Xi was startled. "What are you doing?"
Gu Liyan dared not look back and stumbled away from their sight after every two steps.
Seeing Gu Liyan's staggering figure, Huang Xi stomped her feet in anger. In her opinion, Gu Liyan would definitely not have survived today without their medical treatment.
