Chapter 391 Summoning the Dragon

"You, uh—" Qingyang hadn't finished speaking when he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his neck, followed by his blood turning ice-cold...

With a thud, Qingyang fell straight to the ground, and the noisy crowd stopped abruptly, staring at Mo Han in astonishment, speechless.

They brazenly committed murder in broad daylight, killing the king of their Mighty Dragon Kingdom!

Li Jin turned around and was startled. Qing Yang was not far behind her and Yang Wei, but from the moment Mo Han appeared until he killed her, the two of them hadn't felt a thing!

Mo Han smiled calmly, took out a white handkerchief, wiped the blood off the dagger, looked at Qing Ge on the altar who was staring at him with a surprised expression, and said with a smile, "Don't misunderstand, I didn't do this to save you, but because I didn't want my junior brother to resent me."

Qingge pursed her lips, looked at Qingyang lying on the ground with his throat slit, and sighed helplessly. Even if they were enemies, they were still siblings after all.

Mo Han squinted and turned to look at Li Jin and Yang Wei, smiling as he said, "This fool deserves to die. He didn't even realize that the two people in front of him, the Imperial Physician Li and General Yang, whom he trusted most, were a military advisor from the Kingdom of Warriors and a treacherous servant from the Kingdom of Arts and Justice, respectively."

Yang Wei involuntarily took a step back, distancing himself from Mo Han and watching him warily. He was bothered that Mo Han had discovered him secretly observing him that day, but the latter hadn't shown any intention of pursuing the matter.

But Li Jin stood still, calmly saying, "Do you think you can clear your name by falsely accusing the two of us? Aren't you being too presumptuous?"

Mo Han raised the blood-stained handkerchief and said loudly, "You all hypocrites claim to be resolving the Dragon's Grievance and quelling the Dragon Clan's rage, yet you're about to harm an innocent life. Now, I will slay the culprit for you. Aren't you grateful to me?"

The crowd exchanged puzzled glances. "Was this dragon's wrath caused by the king?"

"Impossible! It couldn't possibly be him. It should be Princess Qingge!"

Mo Han sneered, "What an ignorant bunch of humans! Since none of you believe me, then I will offer Qingyang's blood as a sacrifice to the Dragon God and see if it really was him!"

"Dragon God?!"

Everyone stared at Mo Han in astonishment, even Qing Ge looked surprised, "Isn't the Dragon God already..."

“The world is vast and boundless, so how could there only be one Dragon God in the heavens and earth!” Mo Han said.

As he spoke, he formed a hand seal with one hand and threw the bloodstained handkerchief into the air with the other. Instead of falling down, the handkerchief shot straight up into the sky and disappeared in the blink of an eye.

"What... what is this? A ritual to summon the dragon?"

"Even if the Dragon God isn't dead, he can't summon him!"

People around them were talking amongst themselves, and Qingge looked at Mo Han, who had a serious expression, out of curiosity about the truth.

Just as everyone was growing impatient, thunder suddenly rumbled in the clear sky, followed by a fierce wind, and the sky above the Kingdom of Weilong gradually darkened...

What happened?

"So many strange things have happened today!"

"My mom's calling me home for dinner, I'm off!"

"roar--"

Just as the cowardly were about to flee, everyone heard a loud dragon roar resounding through the sky.

"Look! That's..."

Everyone looked up and saw a dragon's shadow faintly visible in the gray sky, weaving through the clouds.

Li Jin stared wide-eyed at the dragon shadow, then noticed Mo Han's expression suddenly change. Lost in thought, she secretly slipped into the crowd while Mo Han wasn't looking…

Mo Han squinted at the dragon shadow in the clouds and sneered, "I hate looking up the most. I'll give you three breaths to get down here right now!"

Everyone noticed that Mo Han's voice was much louder than the dragon's roar.

As soon as he finished speaking, the dragon shadow in the sky transformed into a stream of light and descended onto the altar.

Qingge felt a blur before her eyes, and then a figure appeared in front of her—

Upon seeing the dragon shadow in the sky, Long Wei, who was outside the palace, was overjoyed. "It's the aura of the Dragon God! Could it be that the Dragon God is still alive?"

Without further hesitation, Long Wei took to the air and flew towards the palace. As she entered the city gate, she suddenly discovered that the original barrier had disappeared.

Long Wei was about to enter the palace when she bumped into an acquaintance. Upon seeing this person, Long Wei's expression changed slightly: "Gu Liyan!"

Gu Liyan saw Long Wei standing opposite him, frowned slightly but did not deny his identity, "It's me."

"Hmph, I didn't expect that I was still fooled by that guy Mo Chen. So the person he was carrying that day was you. What a clever switcheroo! How despicable and shameless!" Long Wei sneered.

"If this is considered despicable and shameless, then wouldn't the conditions you offered be even more despicable? If I didn't do this, wouldn't it be an easy victory for you to kill me and silence me?" Gu Liyan said calmly.

Long Wei clenched her fists and glared angrily at Gu Liyan. She hated Gu Liyan's indifferent expression!

Just then, the roar of a dragon echoed again from within the palace. Gu Liyan's expression changed, and after glancing at Long Wei, he dashed towards the palace. Long Wei was startled by Gu Liyan's speed and said irritably:

"Good, so this guy has been pretending to be weak all along. With the Dragon God here, I will make them all pay the price!"

—The dragon's shadow transformed into a golden light and descended, actually taking on a human form.

He had a handsome appearance, looked to be no more than twenty years old, wore a golden dragon robe, had a pair of dragon horns on his head topped with a golden crown, and had golden eyes, making him look extremely noble!

Upon seeing him descend to earth, the onlookers all knelt down, not daring to look up at him. Of course, this included Mo Han and Qing Ge on the altar.
