The next morning
Gu Changyuan arrived at Gu Liyan's door early in the morning and knocked on it. "Xiao Li, are you awake? I'm coming in."
Gu Liyan opened her eyes groggily, still half asleep, looking drowsy from just before dawn last night.

"Thank you, Senior Brother!" Gu Liyan said with a smile as he saw that he was no different from a mortal.
“You still have an injury on your leg. For your safety, I will take you down the mountain on horseback,” Gu Changyuan said, picking up Gu Liyan.
Gu Liyan blushed instantly as Gu Changyuan hugged her. "Senior brother, I'm all grown up now, I don't need you to carry me anymore!"
