Upon seeing the Shelley Inn built on the mountaintop, Su Xian'er was overjoyed. This was undoubtedly a godsend, and she went straight inside without a second thought.
Seeing the stunningly beautiful Su Xian'er walk in, Huang Qi, the only waiter who did odd jobs, stepped forward and said, "Miss, would you like a meal or a room? We have the finest wines here, which will not give you a headache and can even ward off the cold!"
Su Xian'er's eyes lit up when she heard about the fine wine. "Great! Give me a jar of wine, and a few side dishes too!"
"Okay, please wait a moment!" Huang Qi said with a smile.
Su Xian'er then looked around. The shop was simply decorated, with no ornaments at all, except for the stove in the middle that emitted a constant flame.
At this moment, Su Xian'er noticed that besides herself, there were two other travelers passing through the area in the corner.
When the two men saw Su Xian'er, her clear eyes were free of any impurities, and they instantly judged that Su Xian'er was an innocent young lady who had never experienced the ways of the world. Their eyes immediately lit up with a sharp light.
Su Xian'er was unaware of the change in their expressions. She sat near the stove, took out her money pouch and took out some silver.
Seeing the money in Su Xian'er's hand, they were even more astonished. Such a pretty girl carrying so much money, it goes without saying that it made them have improper thoughts!
A short while later, the waiter brought out fine wine and delicious food. "Please enjoy your meal, young lady!"
"Okay, thank you!" Su Xian'er smiled sweetly. Having traveled for a long time, she was so hungry that she started eating right away.
Seeing this, the two people beside them exchanged glances, and one of them stood up and walked towards Su Xian'er.
As the person passed by Su Xian'er, he collapsed to the ground. Su Xian'er was startled and quickly went to help him up, asking, "Are you alright?"
The man behind her silently stepped forward, sprinkled a sleeping potion into Su Xian'er's drink, and then calmly walked over to help her up, saying, "How could you be so careless!"
"Thank you, little sister!"
Su Xian'er blushed and waved her hand, "You're welcome!"
The two exchanged a smile and turned to leave.
The waiter witnessed what had just happened, but he didn't say anything to remind Su Xian'er...
Having eaten and drunk her fill, Su Xian'er was about to leave when she suddenly felt dizzy, lightheaded, and weak. "Strange, this wine... it's supposed to not give me a headache..."
The waiter stepped forward and said, "Miss, this fine wine can't be digested in one go. I'm afraid you drank too much by yourself just now. Why don't I get you a room so you can go upstairs and rest?"
Su Xian'er nodded weakly, "Okay."
After saying that, her legs gave way and she collapsed. The waiter hurriedly caught her and carried her out of the inn with a cold laugh.
"Hehe, what a pretty little girl."
"I wonder how much it can sell for!"
"Sell my ass! Let's have some fun first!"
Su Xian'er vaguely felt people talking to her, then felt someone starting to undress her, and she instantly sobered up halfway. "Who!"
Looking at the waiter and the two people who had just finished eating, Su Xian'er asked in surprise, "What are you doing?"
"Hehe, little girl, it's no wonder the three of us brothers are attracted to you because you're so beautiful." The waiter chuckled and couldn't help but rub his hands together as he spoke.
"You, you're all in cahoots?" Su Xian'er's face turned pale with fright.
"So what if it is? You found out too late!"
"Help! Help me..." Su Xian'er shouted urgently.
Snap!
"You brat, trying to scream for help? See how I deal with you!"
"Ah—Waaaaah!"
Snap!
"Shut up! I'll make you cry!"
Su Xian'er was terrified, her face drained of color, yet she continued to struggle, crying out, "Help! Help—"
At that moment, Gu Liyan, who had originally planned to take a short rest, heard cries for help and frowned. "Doesn't this little Lin know that someone is causing trouble on his own turf? Why doesn't he come out and do something about it..."
As the crying grew louder, Gu Liyan finally couldn't hold back any longer and stood up to walk towards the source of the sound.
"Waaaaah." Su Xian'er was in tears, with blood still on her lips.
"Damn it, I'll teach you to cry!"
Her tearful appearance was even more touching, which stirred the hearts of the three men.
"Monkey, we'd better hurry up and deal with her, or the innkeeper will be back soon!" the waiter said to Su Xian'er.
"Good!" The man called Monkey revealed a ferocious smile.
Su Xian'er looked at the three of them with a face full of despair, having forgotten how to cry, and her heart was filled with resentment.
Lies!
That Taoist priest is a big fraud!
She has none of those extraordinary qualities!
They're all scammers!
Su Xian'er stopped crying, her whole body turned unusually cold, and she stared straight at the three of them, saying, "Even if I have to, I will remember what you look like, and I will take it back from hell!"
Seeing that Su Xian'er did not resist, the three chuckled, finally having tamed her.
However, just as the three were about to make their move, a cold yet magnetic voice spoke up, "What do you want to do?"
The three were startled and turned around to look. When they saw Gu Liyan dressed in white, the waiter became even more arrogant. "So it's you, you sickly fellow. This is none of your business!"
This waiter was temporarily hired by Xiao Linzi to take care of Gu Liyan. He was asked to watch the shop when he wasn't around, but who would have thought that he would bring his cronies to eat and drink when Xiao Linzi wasn't there!
And now they're doing such despicable things!
Gu Liyan looked at him coldly, "You dare to order me around?"
It's ridiculous that a nine-tailed fox who has cultivated for a thousand years is being bossed around by a weak human!
Although Gu Liyan voluntarily maintains peace between the two races, it doesn't mean he has no temper or bottom line!
