Gu Liyan and Mo Chen walked out of the time tunnel and found that the tunnel led to a wasteland near the waterfall cave where they had come from.
Emerging from the tunnel, they found themselves bathed in the bright midday sun. Gu Liyan and the other person gradually adjusted to the light, took a deep breath together, and enjoyed the long-awaited sunshine.
"Finally out! I was going crazy from being cooped up there!" Mo Chen said with a relaxed expression.

"Watch your whispers, I can hear you from this far away. Do you two want me to translate for you again?" The mysterious man said as he walked towards the two of them with a smirk.
Mo Chen immediately shut his mouth, not daring to speak again, for fear of offending this mysterious man and causing a fight.
The mysterious man seemed to take two steps, covering a distance of several dozen meters, and arrived in front of Gu Liyan and Mo Chen.
Gu Liyan remained calm and composed, stepped forward to stand opposite the mysterious man, cupped his hands in greeting, and said, "Brother, what brings you here to teach us?"
The mysterious man smiled, a slight smirk playing on his lips. "I have no other choice but to meet you!"
Gu Liyan frowned, unsure of his meaning. Before he could ask, the mysterious man pointed at Mo Chen and said, "Alright, this is none of your business. You can leave now. I have something to discuss with him."
"No, I must stay and protect you, sir!" Before Gu Liyan could speak, Mo Chen immediately refused.
The mysterious man's face turned cold, as if he was about to get angry, but Gu Liyan spoke up, "Mo Chen, you go back first. Actually, I also have something to discuss with this gentleman!"
"Ah? My lord, he is..." Mo Chen wanted to say something, but seeing Gu Liyan's confident and domineering gaze, he immediately gave up the idea.
"Well then, my lord, I'll head back now," Mo Chen said, then turned and left.
After Mo Chen left, the mysterious man chuckled and said, "Your authority isn't bad! This guy is quite loyal to you!"
Gu Liyan smiled and said, "It seems we both know each other's identities now."

Gu Liyan shook her head.
"Firstly, he doesn't want you to test him because he's worried that your abilities will surpass his and affect his position in the Nine Netherworld," Mo Bai said with a smile.
