Although this wasn't the first time they'd met, Gu Liyan always seemed distinctly different from Mo Bai. His face always wore a gentle smile, like a spring breeze, bringing warmth to people.
But this time when I saw him, there was no smile, only a frozen look of pain on his face, which made those who saw him feel sorry for him.
Not only that, Gu Yan looked at his deathly pale face, which was covered with a layer of frost. Dried black blood remained at the corners of his mouth, along with fresh blood that had just been spat out. He looked extremely weak...
