After a thorough examination, Liu Mengxian confirmed that Gu Liyan had vomited blood simply out of anger. His weakness was due to excessive blood loss from traveling all night; he would recover with proper rest. As for the chest pain, that was a question for Gu Liyan to answer, based on his own thoughts.
Liu Mengxian put Gu Liyan's arm back under the covers, tucked the blanket around him, and turned to Li Mang, saying, "Rest well and don't disturb him. He'll be fine after a while."
Li Mang nodded hurriedly, "Okay, I will take good care of it."
"Then...then I'll go first." Liu Mengxian looked at Gu Liyan reluctantly, hoping that Gu Liyan would keep her.
Just as they were about to leave, Mo Han walked in with a bag of luggage and a first-aid kit, and coldly asked, "Where are you going?"
Liu Mengxian stammered, pointing at Gu Liyan, "Xiao Li is alright, so I... I'll be going now..."
Mo Han stopped Liu Mengxian and said directly, "He needs someone to take care of him, and I think you are very suitable. I have prepared a quilt for you."
Mo Han tossed the luggage to Liu Mengxian and continued, "From now on, you'll live next door, which will make it easier for you to take care of him."

Liu Mengxian nodded gratefully, glanced at Mo Han, and left the room. Mo Han looked at Li Mang standing to the side and coldly said, "Who let you in? Get out!"
"Huh?" Li Mang thought he had misheard.
"What? Are you a doctor or a nurse? What help are you here? Get out!" Mo Han said irritably.
"Oh!" Li Mang walked out with a wronged look on his face.
Mo Han frowned as she looked at Gu Liyan lying on the bed and cursed, "These old bastards actually dare to trip me up. Once Xiao Liyan recovers, I'll see how I deal with them!"
"Cough cough..." Gu Liyan woke up and coughed lightly. He opened his eyes and saw Mo Han preparing to sit up.
Mo Han hurriedly stepped forward to help Gu Liyan up and said, "I must have been talking too loudly and woke you up."
Gu Liyan looked at Mo Han, smiled bitterly, and shook his head. "No, it's just that I've been lying down for too long and can't fall asleep."
"You're lying. You can't sleep because your wound is hurting so much, right?" Mo Han exposed.
Gu Liyan awkwardly said, "Senior brother, you already know, so why bother trying to trick me? Give me some face!"
Mo Han glared at Gu Liyan and said, "Patients should follow instructions. What's the point of saving face! I'll have Liu Mengxian prescribe some painkillers for you later."
Gu Liyan asked in confusion, "Liu Mengxian? Who is that?"
The only person he knew was Liu Changxian...
Mo Han sneered, "Don't play dumb with me, kid. Isn't Liu Mengxian your dream girl?"
Gu Liyan was filled with questions and was about to ask when Liu Mengxian came out of the study, holding a piece of paper covered with the names of medicines. She said, "I've written down all the medicines you need. Take a look..."
When Liu Mengxian saw Gu Liyan wake up, she stopped talking abruptly and subconsciously lowered her head, not daring to look at Gu Liyan.
Gu Liyan frowned and said angrily when he saw that Liu Mengxian was Liu Changxian. "Who do we have here? It's you! Didn't I tell you to leave? Why are you still here?"
"I..." Liu Mengxian looked at Mo Han for help.

Neither the guards nor anyone else came here; it was eerily quiet all day. The only sounds that could be heard, besides Gu Liyan's cough, were…
"I already told you I don't need you to come along!" Gu Liyan looked at Liu Mengxian with disdain.
Liu Mengxian stopped, looking at Gu Liyan with a wronged expression, "I... I'm worried you'll be in danger alone..."
Gu Liyan coldly retorted, "Do I need protection even for a walk? I'm not a cripple!"
Liu Mengxian's eyes reddened slightly after Gu Liyan's words, and tears welled up in her eyes.
Seeing the frail Liu Mengxian, Gu Liyan glared at her and said angrily, "Either you wait here, or get out of here!"
After saying that, he turned and strolled towards the bamboo grove in the backyard...
Watching Gu Liyan's retreating figure, Liu Mengxian's tears fell uncontrollably.
Gu Liyan frowned, her mood complicated, and she stopped only when she reached a place where Liu Mengxian could no longer see her.
