Wang Qi looked at Gu Liyan, who was sitting blankly to the side, and sneered, "It's just interesting to see some people looking so dejected."
“Miss Wang is indeed clever; knowing you wouldn’t leave Xiao Li, he wouldn’t dare to chase after you. But for Miss Wang to actually eat a whole plate of snake meat for Xiao Li, I have to admire her!” Mo Han said, cupping her hands in a gesture of respect as she looked at Wang Qi’s empty plate.
Wang Qi glared at Mo Han. "It's all because you said it was a snake raised by my Wang family. If I didn't eat it, you would have confirmed it! Compared to you, I'm completely outmatched!"
Mo Han squinted and chuckled, "It's not good to hurt each other. I hope we'll have the opportunity to cooperate in the future and drive the snake people out. Today's banquet went quite well. Thank you for your cooperation, Miss Wang!"
"Hmph! You think you can get rid of the snake people just because you have enough supplies? What wishful thinking!" Wang Qi sneered.
Mo Han raised her chin, looking at her with interest. "Does Miss Wang perhaps know some inside information about the snake people? If so, please tell me!"
Wang Qi squinted at Mo Han, then glanced at Gu Liyan out of the corner of her eye and chuckled, "If you want to know, then wash your junior brother clean and bring him to my bed!"
Mo Han smiled and said in a low voice, "So Miss Wang has taken a liking to my junior brother! That's easy, just wait for him tonight!"
Wang Qi looked at Mo Han in astonishment and whispered, "You're kidding me, right?"
“Many people have already sacrificed themselves for the great cause, and my junior brother is always ready to sacrifice himself. I think being with you, Miss Wang, is better than being with that disobedient little girl!” Mo Han said.
"Hehe, Commander Mo, if I hadn't met your junior brother first, I might have fallen for you! I think you're not suited to leading troops into battle, but rather to business. If it were you, you could definitely become the richest businessman!" Wang Qi chuckled.
"If this battle ends, I think I'll go into business," Mo Han said with a forced smile.
Wang Qi glanced at Gu Liyan, whose face was unbelievably beautiful, licked her lips, and said, "Then tonight, I'll be waiting for Commander Mo's good news!"
Wang Qi left with a happy expression.

Gu Liyan waved his hand weakly and said, "I understand, senior brother. You don't need to say anything more. I'll go find Wang Qi right now."
Gu Liyan staggered out of the courtyard, his sorrow unspoken. Since no one cared, Gu Liyan decided to bear this bitterness alone…
Mo Han watched Gu Liyan's retreating figure, a hint of reluctance flashing in her eyes, but in the end she remained firm in her original idea.
Mo Han watched Gu Liyan's figure walk further and further away until he disappeared from sight before turning her gaze away.
"After this is over, I must make it up to them properly..." Mo Han thought to himself.
Just as she was about to go back to her room to rest, she suddenly heard a "clang". Looking over, Mo Han found that the drunkard had not left yet.
The last bottle of wine was emptied, the glass lay scattered on the table in a mess, and the person had already collapsed to the side, feeling like they were living a life of drunken stupor.
Mo Han frowned and walked over to take him to his room to rest. Seeing the man's disheveled hair, she sighed helplessly, "It's better to end this war as soon as possible!"
"Xiaoqi, why are you ignoring your father..."
The drunkard mumbled incoherently. Mo Han froze, staring at the drunkard in surprise. He brushed aside the drunkard's hair, revealing a face that had been disfigured and whose original features were no longer visible. However, Mo Han was certain that he was the same person!
"He's not him, could it be..." Mo Han's expression suddenly tightened. "Oh no, Xiao Li is in danger!"
Gu Liyan arrived at the Prince's Mansion, only to find Wang Qi waiting for him at the gate.
"I knew you'd come, so I was already waiting for you before I even stepped inside!" Wang Qi said with a wide smile, which looked particularly eerie.
Gu Liyan said nothing and walked straight into the palace, ahead of Wang Qi, acting as if he were the master of the house.
Wang Qi watched as Gu Liyan's smile grew wider and wider. Before she could speak, Gu Liyan suddenly asked, "How does it feel to be a young lady instead of a housekeeper? Isn't it great?"
