Gu Liyan returned downstairs and suddenly noticed Xiao Linzi frowning and staring at her. "Why are you looking at me like that? Aren't you going to settle the accounts?"
"What did you do?" Xiao Linzi asked Gu Liyan in a reproachful tone.
"What do you mean?" Gu Liyan asked, puzzled.
Xiao Linzi said angrily, "Don't you know? Su Xian'er left because of you!"
Gu Liyan was stunned. "What? Xian'er... How could this be! Why didn't you stop her from leaving!"
Xiao Linzi rolled her eyes at Gu Liyan and said, "She was picked up by her father's men; I couldn't stop her at all."
Gu Liyan was extremely anxious: "You idiot! Then tell me!"
As Gu Liyan was about to chase after him, Xiao Linzi stopped him at the door.
Gu Liyan frowned as she looked at him. "What do you mean by this?"
