Gu Liyan had many dreams in a daze, but he couldn't piece together the specific details. However, the main characters were him and Hua Baixian. The more joyful they were when they met, the more painful their separation was. These dreams tormented him repeatedly, causing him great heartache.
"Xiao Li? Xiao Li!" Hua Baixian saw Gu Liyan covered in cold sweat and looking pained, and was anxious to wake him from his dream.
Gu Liyan trembled slightly as he woke up from his dream. Looking at Hua Baixian, whose eyes were red, he sighed and said softly, "I'm hungry. Go cook."
"Cooking and other things are fine too. How are you feeling now? Are you alright? Should we go to the hospital?" Hua Baixian asked anxiously.

Mo Chen's question caused Gu Liyan to fall silent for a few seconds. Looking at Mo Chen's angry yet concerned gaze, Gu Liyan suddenly smiled and said, "What can I do? I like acting. The thrill of deceiving everyone is very interesting to me!"
He enjoys both acting in a storyline and acting between people! It's not that he enjoys deception, but rather that it helps him forget many troubles.

Gu Liyan looked at Mo Chen, unsure of what to say. He had always only considered himself, never thinking about what Mo Chen might do...
"Finally, one day, I found out about you and learned your hospital room number. I plan to get rid of you and end this absurd life!" A ruthless glint flashed in Mo Chen's eyes.
Gu Liyan looked at Mo Chen without changing his expression, a hint of pity appearing in his eyes. He knew that as long as he was alive, Mo Chen hadn't laid a hand on him—
He continued, "I remember it was raining that day, and it was very dark. When I found your ward, I found you lying on the bed, covered in tubes, struggling to breathe even with an oxygen mask. You were thin and pale, as if you would die if the oxygen mask were removed!"
