Gu Liyan always believed that there is always a way out. Since Xuan Tiandao intended to let him go, he would not leave the cell phone as the only way out. There must be other ways.

Gu Liyan endured the pain and hurriedly held the phone up to his body. So this was what they meant by not having much time. He never expected that Xuan Tiandao would drown him alive in the end!
Gu Liyan was terrified in the face of such a death. Looking at the phone clutched in his hand, he realized that this might be the last time he dialed that number—he remembered everything about her very clearly.

Gu Liyan wanted to cry. Why did they never get a chance to be together? He was now certain that Hua Baixian was the one he was looking for, and that she was waiting for him.

Then his eyes rolled back and he fainted!
Ignoring the water on her feet, Hua Yuxian rushed to Gu Liyan's side. Looking at his still handsome face, Hua Yuxian burst into tears, "Gu Liyan, hold on, I'm coming to save you!"
