Lin Momo's expression changed, and she avoided Yan Xiyue's gaze. "I really don't know what kind of bewitching potion the Yan family gave you, that you would believe even such a photo!"
Yan Xiyue roared, "Lin Momo! Don't forget, the Yan family you're talking about includes me! And my relatives!"
Lin Momo frowned and said, "What do you think these photos prove? Do you think I'm having an affair with these people? Yan Xiyue, can't you be a little smarter? Don't make me look down on you!"
Enraged, Yan Xiyue raised her hand and slapped Lin Momo across the face, her eyes red as she said, "I've given you everything, why don't you ever consider my feelings?"
Lin Momo trembled slightly, pursed her lips, and said, "Then what do you want if I say the photos are real?"
Yan Xiyue trembled with anger, tears welling up in her eyes as she gritted her teeth and said, "Then I'll get a divorce..."
"Fine! Let's get a divorce!"
Yan Xiyue was stunned. She only wanted to say, "Then I'll leave you," but before she could finish, Lin Momo directly said, "Divorce!"
Lin Momo turned around, took out a prepared contract from under the pillow on the bed, handed it to Yan Xiyue, and said coldly, "I had already considered divorce when you left. Since you agree, let's get a divorce!"
Yan Xiyue almost choked on her breath, and choked out, "Lin Momo! You bastard! Have you forgotten what you promised me?"
"Ha, what's the use of promises these days? Besides, the last promise I made to you was hundreds of years ago. You don't actually think a vow can last for lifetimes, do you?" Lin Momo turned her head away without even looking at her. "I'm not Gu Liyan. I don't have that much time to play crazy games with you!"
Tears streamed down Yan Xiyue's face as she choked out, "Fine, Lin Momo! You'll regret this!"
Yan Xiyue picked up the pen, signed her name without even looking at it, and looked up at Lin Momo coldly, saying, "From now on, we're completely cut off!"
Yan Xiyue got up and left without looking back.
Lin Momo stood there for an unknown amount of time before smiling slightly and saying, "I don't regret it..."
As Yan Xiyue walked out of the Third Hospital, she bumped into Hua Yuxian, who had just returned. Yan Xiyue gave Hua Yuxian a cold look, said nothing, and prepared to leave.
"What? Did someone dump you? You're acting like a wronged woman!" Hua Yuxian sneered.
Yan Xiyue stopped coldly, turned around and went straight to Hua Yuxian, raising her hand to hit her. Hua Yuxian grabbed her arm and said coldly, "For someone like you, Lin Momo divorcing you was the right choice!"
Yan Xiyue angrily pulled her hand back, "This is none of your business!"
After saying that, Yan Xiyue turned and left.
Hua Yuxian sneered, "A woman like you, apart from Lin Momo, I'm afraid no one in this world would like you!"
Yan Xiyue glared at Hua Yuxian, but got into the car and left without saying anything.
Watching her leave, Hua Yuxian squinted and sighed, "I really feel sorry for Lin Momo!" After saying that, she walked into the hospital.
After driving a few blocks, Yan Xiyue stopped at an intersection, angrily pounding the steering wheel and cursing, "Damn it! Lin Momo, you bastard! You actually betrayed me!"
Thinking back on the days she spent with Lin Momo, she realized that those times were far too few. She had hoped that this trip would allow them to spend more time together, but instead, she received a divorce agreement...
"Who says I can't get married? I'll wear the most beautiful wedding dress, marry the most outstanding person, and I'll invite you to the ceremony so you can see how envious you all are!" Yan Xiyue thought bitterly.
Back at the Yan family home, Yan Xiyue said to Meng Lingzhu, "Mother, arrange a blind date for me tomorrow. I want to find the most outstanding person to be my husband!"
Meng Lingzhu looked at Yan Xiyue in surprise, but before she could ask her anything, Yan Xiyue locked herself in her room.
The Third Hospital, Director's Office
When the new test results came out, Dean Gao's expression turned even more grim. "Boss, you should get treatment as soon as possible."
"Treatment won't help, will it? At most, it will alleviate the headache a little." Lin rubbed her temples, feeling that the headache was lasting much longer.
"But boss, if this continues, you'll go blind very soon!" Dean Gao warned.
"Don't worry, I'll take care of everything before then," Lin Momo said with a smile.
As soon as she finished speaking, Lin Momo's phone rang. After answering the call, a message came from the other end: "Boss, we've found the location of Xuantiandao."
Lin smiled and said, "Okay, send someone to keep an eye on them, but don't alert them."
"yes!"
Lin Momo stood up and said to Dean Gao, "I'll be leaving for a bit. Please take care of Mo Li."
"Okay, boss."
Lin Momo walked out of the dean's office, and Gu Tao walked over. Lin Momo smiled and bent down, saying, "Little Tao, have you come to see your father?"
Gu Tao looked at Lin Momo, nodded, and then shook her head.
Lin Momo asked in confusion, "What's wrong? Is there anything else? Tell me, and your aunt will help you."
Gu Tao glanced around to make sure no one else was there, then whispered in Lin Momo's ear, "I know you and Aunt Xiyue had a fight. If you need my help, I can help you secretly!"
Lin Momo was taken aback and awkwardly replied, "No need, I've already broken up with her."
Gu Tao hurriedly asked, "Aunt Mo Mo, don't you like Aunt Xi Yue anymore?"
Lin Momo lowered her eyes slightly, patted Gu Tao's head and said, "It's not that I don't like her, it's just that we're not suitable for each other. Letting her stay by my side would be unfair to her."
Gu Tao asked in confusion, "Has Aunt Momo encountered some difficulties?"
"No, no." Lin Momo said with a smile, "Alright, go see your father, I have to go out for a bit."
