"Lin Momo, can you tell me about your story?" Gu Liyan asked.

Lin nodded silently. "Okay."
Gu Liyan suddenly remembered something and asked, "You and Xi Yue?"
Lin smiled bitterly, "Because of my father, I don't want her to get involved, so I can only distance myself from her for now..."
Gu Liyan nodded. "You did the right thing. This is the only way to protect her."
Lin smiled bitterly and said nothing.
On the other side
Yan Xiyue locked herself in her room, refusing to eat or drink, and sat by the window, watching. She felt that Lin Momo would definitely come looking for her, so she stood guard by the window, hoping to see Lin Momo as soon as she arrived...
But a day passed, two days passed, three days passed, and there was still no news from her.
Early that morning, her mother, Meng Lingzhu, hurriedly knocked on the door. "Yueyue, it's Mom. I've prepared breakfast for you. Have some."
"Mom, I'm not hungry," Yan Xiyue said, staring blankly out the window.
Outside the door, Meng Lingzhu sighed, "You haven't eaten for three days, how can you manage?"
With Yan Xiyue's voice gone from the room, Meng Lingzhu angrily exclaimed, "Look at the state you've become! It's all that woman's fault! She deserves to die!"
At this point, someone patted Meng Lingzhu on the shoulder from behind. When she turned around, she saw that it was Yan Zhong.
Yan Zhong silently took out his phone and handed it to Meng Lingzhu. The latter looked down at it in confusion and exclaimed, "How is this possible? She's really dead!"
Upon hearing Meng Lingzhu's words, Yan Xiyue staggered to the door, opened it, and anxiously asked, "You, who did you say died?"
Meng Lingzhu silently hid her phone behind her back. Yan Zhong sighed, "She'll find out about this sooner or later."
