Gu Liyan and Li Hao searched along the roadside when they suddenly heard a faint cry for help. Gu Liyan looked up and saw a girl lying motionless on top of someone at the bottom of the slope.
Fortunately, she only suffered minor abrasions and was not in life-threatening danger. However, the person beneath her was covered in blood and had a bloody face, making it impossible to see their features. The cry for help had come from her.
"Hang in there, I'm coming to save you right away!" Gu Liyan said and rushed over, only to see the person beneath him lose consciousness and his head loll to the side.
Ignoring the danger, Gu Liyan jumped down the hillside, shouting to Li Hao, who was still searching nearby, "Rat! He's over here, come quick!"
Li Hao rushed over upon hearing the commotion, and Gu Liyan also came to the injured girl's side. He helped her up, and when he parted her hair to see her face clearly, he was stunned. "Yan Xiyue?! Then, who is she—"
Gu Liyan looked at Lin Momo lying on the ground, covered in blood, and his heart tightened. "How could this be..."
At this moment, Li Hao ran over anxiously and asked, "How are you? Are you still alive?"
Gu Liyan's expression was serious as he checked Yan Xiyue's nose and said, "She's fine, she just fainted. You carry her on your back for now."
"Okay." Li Hao carried Yan Xiyue on his back.
Gu Liyan bent down to examine Lin Momo and found that she had a wound on her forehead and was bleeding a lot. Blood was also seeping out from her body, indicating that she was seriously injured in the back.
Gu Liyan carefully helped Lin Momo up. Lin Momo, who was still unconscious, felt a sharp pain, groaned, and her face turned pale.
When Gu Liyan saw the bloody mess on Lin Momo's back caused by the bomb, he knew that Lin Momo must have protected Yan Xiyue in her arms and taken all the damage herself.

Li Hao asked, "Where would I get a stretcher?"

Hua Baixian comforted her, "Don't worry, Xiao Li has already sent someone to bring you back. She'll bring Momo back soon, so everything will be fine."
Yan Xiyue's eyes were red and swollen. "It's all my fault. She did it all to protect me..."
Seeing Yan Xiyue's pained expression, Hua Baixian really didn't know what to say to comfort her. Just then, Gu Liyan's urgent voice came from outside, "Xiao Bai, quickly get the medicine box!"
When Hua Baixian saw Gu Liyan and Li Hao carrying Lin Momo, she gasped in shock. The sight of Lin Momo covered in blood was truly dizzying.
"Hurry up!" Gu Liyan said anxiously when he saw Hua Baixian staring blankly.
"Oh, oh!" Hua Baixian didn't dare to delay and hurriedly ran inside to find the medicine box.
When Yan Xiyue saw Lin Momo on the stretcher, she scrambled over to her, crying, "Momo! Momo, how are you? Wake up!"
Gu Liyan said irritably, "Get out of the way! She needs treatment!"
Yan Xiyue didn't dare to speak. Watching Gu Liyan and Li Hao carry Lin Momo into the room, she collapsed to the ground as if all her strength had been drained, tears streaming down her face. "Momo... it's all my fault. If I hadn't agreed to the marriage with the Gongsun family, this wouldn't have happened!"
Hua Baixian brought over the medicine box, glanced at Yan Xiyue kneeling on the ground sobbing uncontrollably, and said irritably, "What are you standing there for? Come and help!"

Lin Momo was lying face down on the bed, with most of the wounds on her back caused by fragments of car parts from the explosion, many of which were embedded in her flesh.
