"Please sit down, I'll get you some water."
Gu Liyan sat on the sofa, clutching his lower abdomen with a grim expression, because he didn't know when that guy Xu Hun had reappeared!
"Don't look at me like that. I'm just here to remind you that the excruciating poison in your body is about to flare up again." The illusory soul said with a smile. "You'd better use the reagent as soon as possible, otherwise you won't be able to survive this attack!"
Gu Liyan glared at Xu Hun in annoyance but said nothing, because Hua Baixian had already returned with the water.
"I'll take care of Lin Momo today, you should get some rest," Hua Baixian said.
Gu Liyan nodded. "Okay, I'll listen to you."
Hua Baixian, holding Gu Liyan's hand, smiled and said, "It seems the two of them have made up, so there's no need to worry."
Gu Liyan relaxed her brows and smiled, saying, "The two of them used to bicker and fight all the time, so I'm not worried at all!"
"I'm not just talking about Momo and the others, I'm talking about the things that are being said about you in the news online. You still care about that, don't you?" Hua Baixian asked Gu Liyan cautiously.

Li Hao was about to boil water when he turned on the tap and found there was no water left. He paused for a moment, then opened the package and started eating.
"Hey!" Gu Liyan called out anxiously.
Li Hao was startled and looked at the two people on the sofa, saying irritably, "What! Are you trying to scare me to death!"
"Go eat somewhere else!" Gu Liyan glared at Li Hao.
"Showing off their love first thing in the morning, are they trying to kill us all?!" Li Hao muttered as he returned to his room.
Gu Liyan rolled her eyes and said, "This kid, it was one thing to be a third wheel before, but he's still doing it now!"
Hua Baixian covered her mouth and laughed out loud, "You're making things too difficult for him. Don't forget there's another couple showing off their love!"
As he spoke, he looked toward Lin Momo's room.
"Moon, I'm hungry." Lin Momo's stomach was rumbling, and she couldn't fall asleep no matter what.
"I'll go make you something delicious!" Yan Xiyue said with a smile as she stood up.
Lin Momo's expression changed slightly. "You, you're not cooking for the first time, are you?"
Yan Xiyue said meaningfully, "You guessed right!"
Lin Momo watched Yan Xiyue run out of the room, and a second later she regretted it. She'd heard Gu Liyan say that a woman's first attempt at cooking almost always ended in failure; wouldn't Yan Xiyue also fail?
Lin Momo shouted anxiously, "If it's not possible, just make me a bowl of instant noodles, don't push yourself!"
Not receiving a response from Yan Xiyue, Lin Momo looked worried, "I don't know if she can manage..."
Just as Lin Mo was getting worried, Gu Liyan walked in with a smile and asked, "What are you shouting for?"
"Brother Mo!" Lin Momo tried to get up, but Gu Liyan waved his hand and said, "Don't move around. If you hurt us again, we won't have any medicine to treat you."
"Brother Mo, what are you and Sister Hua doing here?" Lin Momo was full of questions, knowing that Gu Liyan had saved her.
Gu Liyan smiled and recounted his experiences after being discharged from the hospital. Lin Momo smiled and said, "So that's how it is. Luckily you were here, otherwise Yue and I don't know if we could have survived this ordeal..."
“Everything is a preordained arrangement, don’t take it to heart. Wasn’t it your people who treated me before? Now it’s my turn to repay you,” Gu Liyan said with a smile.
Lin Momo chuckled like a child, pursed her lips, and shyly asked, "Um, Brother Mo, there's something I need your help with..."
Gu Liyan looked at Lin Momo with a puzzled expression.
Not long after, Yan Xiyue's voice rang out, "Dinner's ready!"
Upon hearing this, Li Hao rushed out and sat at the dining table, only to freeze in shock as he was about to pick up his chopsticks—
Seeing him in a daze, Yan Xiyue said smugly, "That's more like it! Wait a minute while everyone else is eating!"
Hua Baixian returned from the garden, saying happily, "It's done so quickly, really..."
Hua Baixian was stunned when she saw the food on the table.
Gu Liyan helped Lin Momo out and said, "Alright, everyone, sit down and eat."
Everyone sat down at the dining table, and Yan Xiyue said with a smile, "I've watched a lot of videos and learned several dishes before, but this is my first time making them today, so please bear with me!"
Li Hao's hand holding the chopsticks trembled.
Hua Baixian took a deep breath and looked at Gu Liyan.
Gu Liyan swallowed hard and turned his head towards Lin Momo.
Lin Momo looked at the three or four plates of dark, unappetizing dishes in front of her, blinked, pointed to one of them, and asked with a dry laugh, "What kind of dish is this?"
"Oh, that's shredded pork with garlic sauce! Because the water supply was cut off halfway through making it, I just added soy sauce. You should try it, it'll definitely be delicious!" Yan Xiyue said with a smile.
Lin Momo blinked, noticing a faint green toxin emanating from the vegetable in her field of vision. She looked at Gu Liyan, her expression grave, and shook her head slightly.
Seeing Lin Momo's expression, Gu Liyan immediately said, "Xiyue, there are still some drinks in the refrigerator, take them out and have a drink."
