Hearing Li Hao's voice, Gu Liyan, who was in the courtyard, hurriedly came over. "What's wrong? Rat?"
"It's nothing, just some clueless guy!" Li Hao said irritably.

Gu Liyan smiled and said, "We haven't done anything illegal, so we should cooperate with their work!"

Li Hao was about to say something when Li Jin pushed the door open and came in, saying, "Thank you for your cooperation!"

Li Jin is a germaphobe, so she dislikes the slovenly Li Hao. However, upon hearing that it was his home, she felt a vague sense of resentment.

Li Jin nodded and said meaningfully, "As the saying goes, a minor hermit hides in the wilderness, a major hermit hides in the city. This place is very nice, suitable for hiding people."
Li Hao said irritably, "Hey, what do you mean? Are you implying that we kidnapped someone?"
"Heh, if you admit it, I might as well do a search," Li Jin sneered.
"You—" Li Hao was so angry that he couldn't speak. He always felt that Li Jin was his nemesis, and he hated him very much!
Gu Liyan smiled and said, "This place is completely exposed, and there's nowhere to hide. Officer Li, feel free to search if you want."

Li Jin looked around and asked, "Do you have any rooms available?"

"No!" Li Hao immediately denied.
Li Jin smiled and said, "I plan to live here. I'll give you 10,000 yuan a month, and I'll move in tomorrow."
Gu Liyan was stunned, and Li Hao immediately shouted, "No! This isn't about money!"
"Then it'll be twenty thousand! I'll bring my sister too!" Li Jin said, raising her chin.
"Adding more people is even worse!" Li Hao said angrily.
"Add another ten thousand, and I'll provide your daily meals!" Li Jin said without blinking.
"You have so much money you don't know what to do with it! How can a police officer like you have so much money to squander?" Li Hao said irritably.
"Oh, I almost forgot to tell you, being a police officer is just a side job; I'm actually a doctor!" Li Jin said with a smile.
When Li Hao heard Li Jin say that he was a doctor, he immediately became so angry that his face turned red. "Why am I so angry when you say you're a doctor!"
Gu Liyan couldn't help but chuckle. Weren't they both doctors in their past lives, and they also couldn't stand each other?
"Let's move your luggage in a bit. I'll help you move into the room," Gu Liyan said.
"Thank you!" Li Jin said with a smile.
Li Hao's eyes widened. "Mo Li, how could you agree to that?!"
“We’re a bit strapped for cash lately, so please bear with us, Haozi. Maybe you two will become good friends!” Gu Liyan said with a smile.
Become his sister's best friend!
Li Hao stomped his feet in anger, yelling, "Damn it! I don't care anymore!"
In fact, Gu Liyan could tell at a glance that Li Jin's identity was unusual. If it were a police officer on duty, he would not be alone; there would always be two or more of them.
He must have found this place on his own, having discovered some clues along the highway. Given that Gu Liyan had already cleared it out, his ability to find this place speaks volumes about Li Jin's capabilities.
As for keeping him, Gu Liyan wanted to fulfill the task entrusted to him by the illusory soul: to find the awakened one as much as possible, or keep him by his side, so that he might be able to help him in some way.
Li Jin kept her word, called a moving company and they moved in quickly. After everything was settled, she moved in before dark.
At dinner time, Li Jin invited a chef from a five-star hotel to cook for everyone on the spot. Seeing the chef's cooking skills, Li Hao clapped his hands in amazement and forgot who had refused someone's stay during the day.
As for the others, Lin Momo was still asleep, and Yan Xiyue refused to go out, so in the end only Gu Liyan, Hua Baixian, and Li Hao enjoyed a sumptuous dinner.
"Wow, this is so delicious!" Li Hao's eyes sparkled. "This is the first time I've ever had such delicious beef!"
"How ignorant! This is steak!" Li Jin mocked mercilessly.
Li Hao curled his lip. "Who doesn't know it's steak? When I was a kid, I ate a whole cow in one day, you know!"
Li Jin rolled her eyes. "Bullshit!"
"You're the one bragging! If you don't believe me, let's have a contest. If I weren't short on cash lately, I would have already unleashed my gluttonous side!" Li Hao turned to the chef and said, "Give me another fifty pounds of steak!"
Li Jin was speechless. This guy just wanted to eat a few more steaks!
