"What?" Before Hua Baixian could react, Lin Momo rushed over, grabbed her, and ran away.
"Huh?" Hua Baixian was puzzled, but the next second she saw Hua Yuxian behind her had changed her expression and was chasing after her with a ruthless look.
"Stop! Don't run!"
Lin Momo pulled Hua Baixian out of the rooftop, saying urgently as they went downstairs, "There's no time to explain! That woman is dangerous. Stay away from her, she'll get you!"
Hua Baixian had already guessed what was going on when Hua Yuxian suddenly came to deliver the documents.
Hua Yuxian quickly caught up from behind. "Stop! Trying to run away?"
Hua Yuxian leaped down, only a few steps away from Hua Baixian. She jumped down again, raised her hand, and struck at Hua Baixian. Lin Momo hurriedly pushed Hua Baixian away, barely managing to dodge the blow.
Seeing that she had missed Hua Baixian, Hua Yuxian hated Lin Momo even more. Without saying a word, she attacked again, this time pointing at Lin Momo, "You brat, how dare you blame me for my good deed! Take this!"
Hua Yuxian threw a punch at Lin Momo, but Lin Momo tilted her head slightly to dodge it. She then grabbed Hua Yuxian's right wrist and angrily scolded, "You woman, you're like a persistent ghost! I didn't expect you to actually show up right after I saw you committing the crime!"
"What nonsense are you spouting? Die!" Hua Yuxian squinted at Lin Momo, completely unable to understand what she meant.
How could she have guessed that Lin Momo had foreseen the future scenario in which she plotted to harm Hua Baixian?
Lin Momo pouted and pushed Hua Yuxian away, and the two immediately started fighting.
Hua Baixian wanted to go and help, but Lin Momo stopped her, saying, "Her target is you. Don't worry about me. Go and call others for help!"
Seeing that Lin Momo and the other woman were evenly matched, Hua Baixian thought that her martial arts skills were probably inferior to theirs, so she nodded and left after listening to Lin Momo's words.
Seeing that Hua Baixian had already escaped, Hua Yuxian hated Lin Momo to the core. She narrowed her eyes and coldly said, "Lin Momo! How dare you let my prey escape! Today I will kill you!"
"Heh, you'll have to see how capable you are to kill me!" Lin Momo said arrogantly.
After saying that, Lin Momo threw a punch to counterattack. Hua Yuxian's face darkened, and she hurriedly dodged, quickly creating distance and running towards the rooftop.
Lin Momo sneered, "Hua Yuxian, why are you running? Surrender obediently!"
"Hmph!" Hua Yuxian sneered and turned to Lin Momo, saying, "You're too timid to fight in the stairwell. If you're so capable, come and challenge me to a duel on the rooftop!" After saying that, she ran onto the rooftop, and Lin Momo chased after her without thinking much.
The cold wind on the rooftop was biting, and Hua Yuxian's face was as cold as ice. Her killing intent blended with the cold wind, making people shiver.
Lin Momo met Hua Yuxian's gaze, sensing the imposing aura emanating from her, and calmly said, "I didn't expect you to be so strong as well."
Hua Yuxian sneered, "If I didn't have some skills, wouldn't I be like that stupid woman Hua Baixian in this era, bullied by villains and unable to lift my head?"
Lin Momo scoffed, "Sister Hua isn't as bad as you think. If she were, you wouldn't have harmed her out of jealousy!"
"You say I'm jealous? You actually said I'm jealous!" Hua Yuxian glared at Lin Momo furiously. "Lin Momo, you forced me to do this!"
Enraged, Hua Yuxian pulled out a sharp dagger from behind her waist.
Lin Momo's expression changed upon seeing this, and she panicked immediately. "You, why are you carrying a weapon? You're cheating!"
With equal combat power, the combat effectiveness of having weapons and not having weapons is naturally different!
Hua Yuxian smiled wickedly, "I have even more cheating weapons, do you want to see them?"
Lin Momo's expression changed drastically. Recalling the scene that had flashed before her eyes, she knew that Hua Yuxian must still have a reagent on her. Although she didn't know the properties of the reagent, she knew that anything indicating danger must be a life-threatening poison!
Lin Momo dared not make a forceful move again, fearing that she would force Hua Yuxian to use her medicine against her. She simply dodged Hua Yuxian's dagger and retreated repeatedly.
"What's wrong, Lin Momo? Fight back!" Seeing that Lin Momo was only dodging, Hua Yuxian immediately launched a fierce attack on her—
Lin Momo had been gone for quite some time and hadn't returned. Yan Xiyue was getting impatient and got up to look for her. Just as she left the ward, she saw Hua Baixian running towards her in a panic. She happily ran over and asked, "Sister Hua, are you racing with someone? Call me and Momo to join us!"
Hua Baixian rushed over to Yan Xiyue, panting, and said, "Xiyue, I... I didn't race! Someone's trying to kill me! Lin Momo and my sister are fighting on the rooftop... huff huff..."
"Fighting?" Yan Xiyue's expression changed upon hearing this, and she hurriedly ran away.
Hua Baixian hurriedly called out from behind, "Wait, don't go! This is terrible..." Hua Baixian thought of Yan Xiyue's mental state, and what if something happened to her? She immediately ran to find Gu Liyan.
Lin Momo and Hua Yuxian were locked in a fierce battle on the rooftop. Lin Momo had several cuts on her body, which, although not fatal, left her covered in blood.

"Ugh!" Lin Momo groaned, clutching her scratched phone, sweating profusely from the pain. She quickly distanced herself from Hua Yuxian and said, "Wait, wait! Intermission! Intermission!"
"Heh, Lin Momo, I'm killing you, and you still want a break? You're getting more and more spineless!" Hua Yuxian mocked.
Lin Momo, panting heavily, said, "You're allowed to bring weapons, but I'm not allowed to rest? You'll never get away with bullying people like this!"
"Hahaha, Lin Momo, you're still as naive as ever! Do you still believe in karma even now?" Hua Yuxian laughed, but immediately attacked Lin Momo after speaking.
