Gu Liyan explained his guesses to everyone, but he kept the fact that the potion given by the Void Soul a secret.
Hua Baixian frowned and asked in confusion, "This guy wants everyone to remember their past lives, but what's the point of doing that?"
Lin Momo thought for a moment and then said, "Could it be that he did this to remind the Punisher of the Nine Springs Realm of his past life memories and awaken his abilities?"
Gu Liyan nodded. "I think that's how it should be."
Hua Baixian was still baffled. "What happens after the memories are awakened?"
"Yeah, but what's the benefit of doing that?" Lin asked, puzzled.
Gu Liyan began, “Have you heard about the internal strife in the Nine Springs Realm? Not long ago, rebels emerged in the Nine Springs Realm. A group of people united to try to unify the power of each realm. Although the matter was eventually quelled, most of the rebels escaped and entered the cycle of reincarnation.” Gu Liyan explained.
Hearing Gu Liyan's words, everyone was slightly surprised and looked at him in unison, "How did you know about this?"
Gu Liyan paused slightly, then said awkwardly, "I only remembered it after I awakened my past life memories..."
Everyone nodded in sudden understanding. "Oh, I see."
However, Hua Baixian looked at Gu Liyan with a strange expression, her heart filled with suspicion.
She knew that Gu Liyan had no chance to return to the Netherworld after his death in his previous life, and therefore had no chance to know the reason behind it. So how could he know about it now?
With a heavy heart, Hua Baixian secretly observed Gu Liyan, sensing that he was hiding many things from her.
Gu Li, standing to the side, spoke up, "Don't overthink it. If Xuan Tian Dao really has a problem, it will eventually slip up. We'll just wait and see!"
“Yes!” Lin Momo nodded without fear.
After exchanging a few words, everyone parted ways. Before leaving, Hua Baixian stopped Gu Liyan and told him that she had something to say.
Gu Liyan asked with a smile, "What's wrong, Xiao Bai?"

"Him?" Hua Baixian looked at Gu Liyan in surprise. "Why would he suddenly contact you?"
"The Void Soul told me about this and wanted me to accept this mission from the Nine Springs Realm to help him find the reincarnators in the Nine Springs Realm and bring them back to the Nine Springs Realm," Gu Liyan said truthfully.
"You're no longer the Punisher, and he still needs your help?" Hua Baixian was somewhat indignant. "Searching for other reincarnators is such a dangerous thing, how can we let you help? Besides, we've already given him the Life and Death Contract, what more does he want?"
Gu Liyan was surprised that Hua Baixian would be so agitated, and hurriedly stepped forward to comfort her, "Xiao Bai, don't worry, I haven't agreed to this yet. Right now, I just want to be with you and live a peaceful life."

After parting ways with the illusory soul, Gu Liyan felt much lighter and in a great mood, knowing that he would likely never see the illusory soul again.
Gu Liyan never imagined that his choice would harm so many people...
Gu Liyan returned to the consultation room and found an old friend there. She looked at the newcomer with some surprise and asked, "Mo Chen?"
Mo Chen sat there looking tired. He looked up and saw Gu Liyan return. He smiled bitterly and greeted her, "You're here."
Gu Liyan looked at him with a sickly expression and asked in confusion, "Are you sick?"
Mo Chen shook his head, thought for a moment and then nodded. "Yes, I'm sick, so I can't continue to take over the company. You've seen the news, right? I've already issued an announcement that all my assets will be given to you."
