Chapter 6 The Tragedy of Rebellion

Xuantian Pavilion

The silent crowd felt an intense chill permeating the surroundings, all stemming from the aura created by Hua Baixian's emotions.

"What did you say? Gu Liyan is dead?!" Hua Baixian stared at Tianyi Zunhuang in shock and fury.

He thought he could plead for Gu Liyan and mentioned it to the Four Domains Emperor, but Tianyi told him that Gu Liyan was dead!

Upon hearing this news, and hearing Tianyi's explanation that he died because of her, how could she accept this?!

Tianyi sighed, his face full of guilt. "I didn't expect him to hide something from me. When I woke up, he was already..."

Hua Baixian slumped into a chair, her eyes vacant and lifeless. "No, it can't be! He can't die, he won't die..."

Hua Baixian's face was deathly pale, yet she pointed at Tianyi with bloodshot eyes as if she had gone mad, shouting, "He was perfectly fine when he came to me! You lied to me! You lied to me!"

Emperor Tianyi sighed, no longer wanting to explain further.

The other gods looked on indifferently. They had seen too much death, let alone the fact that the dead were just unrelated aliens.

But among them, only Tian Yu, seeing Hua Baixian's almost frantic state, couldn't bear it and comforted her, "Little Fairy, don't get too excited. The dark forces are eyeing us covetously, and we must all think about the bigger picture!"

Hua Baixian's face darkened, and she abruptly stood up, speaking with a cold and serious expression: "All the Flower Goddess abilities I possess were given to me by Gu Liyan. If it weren't for the Heavenly Rules, if it weren't for that absurd deal, he wouldn't have died because of me!"

Hua Baixian coldly surveyed the four supreme emperors seated on the throne, and said in a cold voice, "Heaven and earth are ruthless, treating all things as straw dogs; sages are ruthless, treating the people as straw dogs! This is the unchanging way of life of the Heavenly Palace! You are high and mighty, yet you are not as good as the alien races you reject, who are naturally inclined to repay even the smallest kindness with the greatest gratitude!"

"Hua Baixian! That's enough! Stop fooling around!" Hua Yuxian suddenly stood up and scolded.

Hua Baixian coldly looked at Hua Yuxian and said, "I'm being ridiculous?! Sister, tell me, if I were still the same ordinary Hua Baixian, would I still be sitting with you gods today and be valued by you?"

Hua Baixian's crimson eyes were incredibly cold, causing Hua Yuxian to tremble involuntarily and remain stunned for a long time.

"You're willing to sacrifice everything for your own survival, right? I, Hua Baixian, have no obligation to sacrifice everything to please you cold-hearted people!" Hua Baixian pointed at the gods and spoke coldly.

Upon hearing Hua Baixian's accusations, the Four Domains Emperors did not rebuke her, perhaps because in their eyes Hua Baixian posed no threat whatsoever.

“Flower Goddess, if you continue to be obsessed with people of other races, you may fall into demonic ways. At that time, I am afraid…” Just as all the gods were silent, a deep voice rang out from among the eight great god kings, a master (Ran Yuan) wearing prayer beads.

Hua Baixian looked at Ran Yuan and sneered repeatedly, "Alien race? Ha, it's because you reject alien races that you live forever in your own world! The Heavenly Palace has been peaceful for so long, have you already forgotten hatred, forgotten affection, and even more so, forgotten love?"

Ran Yuan's eyes turned cold, and the hall was filled with powerful energy.

Seeing this, Hua Baixian was not afraid at all. Instantly, a continuous stream of life force surged out from her body, completely neutralizing the malevolent energy.

Ran Yuan looked at Hua Baixian, who seemed to be under no pressure, and couldn't help but feel a sense of shock. Such a powerful life force was probably the inheritance of the strongest flower goddess in history. For a moment, he felt immense pressure.

"Alright, stop glaring at each other!" At this moment, a petite figure appeared between the two, and Ran Yuan immediately felt his magic disappear as if it had hit an invisible barrier.

Hua Baixian stared blankly at the adorable little girl who appeared before her. She was wearing a long blue dress, barefoot, with a longevity lock around her neck, and her eyes were as beautiful as jade. Hua Baixian felt a strange sense of familiarity towards her.

"Sister Flower Goddess, please don't be angry. I don't think things have reached the point of no return." The little girl Rui Xin turned around and spoke with an innocent smile.

Tianyi was taken aback. Only when Ruixin spoke did he realize, "Xin'er has the premonition to avoid cholera, and she also has the premonition of life and death. If that's the case, does that mean that kid still has a chance to be resurrected?!"

Hua Baixian's eyes lit up upon hearing this. Excitedly, she knelt down and took Rui Xin's small hand, feeling its icy touch. "Really? Gu Liyan can be resurrected?"

Despite her childlike appearance, Rui Xin spoke with the air of a little adult, saying in a precocious tone, "You're overthinking it! What resurrection? The only way to resurrect someone is through the cycle of reincarnation; nothing else is possible!"

Hua Baixian's hopes were instantly shattered, but then she saw Rui Xin smile slyly, "Resurrection is impossible, but I'm telling you, the person didn't die at all!"

Tianyi suddenly stood up. "What?! He's not dead?! Xin'er, are you sure?"

“Of course I’m certain, and I’ve deduced that that alien race… might change the fate of my Celestial Clan!” Rui Xin said with certainty.

Turning to Tianxuan, Ruixin spoke solemnly, "Dark forces are surging, and I think it must be the Demon Clan who have been eyeing us for a long time. Therefore—I implore Father Emperor to order the abolition of the exclusion of other races and to accept their coexistence."

Tianxuan frowned as he looked at Ruixin, never expecting that the first person to propose abolishing the Heavenly Rules was none other than his youngest and most beloved daughter.

Hua Baixian looked at Rui Xin in surprise, not expecting that this little girl was actually the daughter of Tian Xuan, the leader of the Four Domains' Supreme Emperors, and even more unexpectedly, she would stand up to help her.

"Isn't this a bit unreasonable? If this order is abolished, can't we say that we can also accept the demon race?" Ran Yuan sneered.
