Just as he hesitated whether to go in, he heard a voice coming from inside the original wall, "Come in, Gu Liyan's child!"
Hearing that the man knew Gu Liyan, Gu Tao stopped thinking about it and mustered up her courage to go inside.
Every step is a paradise. Gu Tao never expected that behind that wall was another world. The mountains and rivers were both real and unreal, the air was fresh and the scenery was breathtaking. Most importantly, the fruits and vegetables grown there were many times larger than those that we normally eat!
"Wow, is this the land of giants from a fairy tale? This watermelon could fit me inside!" Gu Tao exclaimed, looking at the watermelon, which was over a meter in diameter. "If I were to eat this, I could eat it all day long!"
"Hahaha, just like your dad when he was a kid, always making a fuss!" A hearty laugh rang out.
Gu Tao turned to look at the newcomer. The man was dressed in white, and his attire was similar to that of the group from Thousand Absolute Mountain, except that his clothes looked simpler.
However, what puzzled Gu Tao was that, despite it being their first meeting, she felt an inexplicable sense of familiarity with this person.
"Who are you? I've never seen you before." Gu Tao asked curiously, "You just mentioned my father, do you know him?"
Gu Li approached Gu Tao, smiled, bent down, and patted his head. "Your father is someone I watched grow up! How could I not recognize him?"
Gu Tao dodged Gu Li's hand and looked at him warily. "You think you can just say whatever you want? I'm not a child who'll be fooled. If you don't explain yourself clearly, I'll have my father beat you!"
Gu Li laughed heartily, "You little rascal, you've started to doubt me! Don't even mention your father, even your grandfather wouldn't be able to change anything!"
Upon hearing this, Gu Tao was so frightened that she took a few steps back and kept her distance from Gu Li.
"You're always so fierce, don't scare him." A gentle voice came.
Gu Tao looked in the direction of the voice and saw a woman in a long purple dress, as beautiful as a fairy, walking out of the forest. It was Luo Zichen!
Luo Zichen smiled and said, "Hello, I am Luo Zichen. You are Gu Tao, the son of Gu Liyan and Hua Baixian, right?"
Seeing Luo Zichen's gentle demeanor, Gu Tao immediately nodded and said, "Hello, I am Gu Tao, Gu Liyan is my father, and Hua Baixian is my mother. What is your relationship with my father and mother?"
Luo Zichen smiled and pointed at Gu Li, saying, "He is Gu Li, your father's martial uncle. I am his wife, so according to seniority, you should call him martial uncle. As for me, I met your mother first, so you can call me aunt."
"Hello, Auntie!" Gu Tao greeted sweetly, her heart filled with joy. She never expected to have such a beautiful aunt, who was no less stunning than Yan Xiyue!
