"This mission is arduous and will impact the world's格局 (geju, a concept encompassing overall structure and overall situation). The silent conference room fell silent for a moment. Mo Han's face darkened as he saw Gu Liyan, who was sitting in the corner, slowly stand up and say, "I do!"

Gu Liyan, dressed in a white shirt that seemed out of place here, with his long hair cut short and looking handsome and dashing, walked in from outside the city gate. Looking at the battlefield ravaged by fire, he wondered, "This world has no spiritual energy and cannot use magic, so why is there such a large-scale battle scene?"
Just as Gu Liyan was wondering, he saw a horrific scene: corpses lying haphazardly on the street were piled up like a mountain, and several people were moving other corpses to this side. He was immediately stunned.
