Chapter 4 I just miss you, why are you so fierce?

"Okay." Qin Ge readily agreed to her request: "Remember to finish your homework when you get home."

Shengxia was dumbfounded, obviously unwilling: "I don't want to do it, why bother? I'm tired all day, I'm going to sleep when I get home!"

Qin Ge got on the bicycle and helped her along: "Sit down. I'll check it tomorrow."

Qin Ge's tone was not one of negotiation. Sheng Xia had spoiled him and was starting to feel a bit like he was in a bad mood again, with a bit of his temper from his previous life. He pushed his hand away with an impatient look on his face: "I'll do it, okay? I'm so annoyed."

Shengxia pushed open the courtyard door and threw her schoolbag onto the sofa: "Grandma, I'm back."

Then she ran to the kitchen, hugged her grandma and started to act like a spoiled child: "Grandma, I haven't seen you all day today. I missed you so much."

Grandma Sheng looked at Sheng Xia with a mixture of laughter and tears: "Oh, this little girl, how come you are getting worse as you grow older? Hurry up and do your homework. The college entrance examination is coming soon. If you don't get into university, grandma will be angry."

"Also, I'm telling you, stay away from Qin Ge. Don't hang out with him all the time. There's not a single good person in his family. Isn't his mother a good person? You're not afraid of being with him all day..."

In her previous life, Sheng Xia had never cared about Qin Ge's family, even though she had been with Qin Ge for five years. She quickly went to her grandmother's side and asked, "Grandma, what did you just say? What happened to his family?"

Grandma Sheng raised her hand as if to hit Sheng Xia on the head: "What are you asking so many questions for, little kid? Go back to your room and study."

Seeing that grandma was unwilling to mention it again, Shengxia had no choice but to go back to her room.

If it weren't for his grandmother raising him, she would have gone to live out her days with Father Sheng, and wouldn't have had to endure so much.

In her previous life, she left on her own and never came back to see her grandma. She was such an ungrateful person in her previous life. Fortunately, God gave her a chance to make amends.

I will never make my grandma sad again in this life.

As she was thinking, she felt a little sleepy and suddenly remembered that she had not done her homework yet.

Thinking that this was something Qin Ge had specifically told her to do, she quickly got up, turned on the light, and prepared to do her homework.

As soon as she picked up the pen, Shengxia suddenly couldn't understand. Qin Ge didn't care so much about her studies in her previous life. Why did she suddenly care so much about it in this life?

It was obvious that he had stopped studying after graduating from high school in his previous life. He followed Qin Ge to the city and had been relying on Qin Ge for support.

Why has it suddenly become so "difficult" to do this in this life?

Shengxia finished two English papers in just over an hour. She has a good brain, especially in literature and history, but she really doesn't like math, physics and chemistry.

This wasn't the benefit of starting over. She was naturally sensitive to these English symbols, but she dropped out of school too early in her previous life, so no one knew about it.

The next day, Qin Ge waited for her at the second intersection from her house. Although Shengxia didn't say it, Qin Ge seemed to know that his grandmother didn't like him, so he didn't go near her house.

When we got to school, Shengxia pulled out the homework from her schoolbag: "Here, I'm done, check it."

Without saying anything else, he went to his seat.

After a whole day of classes, there are hardly any students who are seriously studying. People in this small place are used to a comfortable life and no one knows what the outside world is like.

Everyone follows in the footsteps of their parents. They go to work in factories at the age of eighteen or nineteen, then get married and have children. When the children are old enough to help with housework, they have just grown up, and the children live their lives in a daze. No one thinks that this is wrong.

Originally, Shengxia didn't care much about these things, but now Qin Ge forces her to finish several papers every day before she can go to bed.

The test paper was wrapped in brown paper and was heavy. It was published by a famous publishing house in the city. I don’t know where Qin Ge got it from.

If this were given to those good students, they would cherish it very much. But when it came to Shengxia, she wrote it reluctantly.

As I was writing, I felt a little annoyed. I thought I couldn't continue writing anyway, so I just went to find Qin Ge.

The repair shop where Qin Ge worked was more than twenty minutes' walk away. Shengxia swatted mosquitoes while walking along the path towards that place.

She also doesn't know how to ride a bike because she is afraid of falling and getting hurt. Qin Ge has taught her, but she is not motivated enough. So she sets a small goal for herself: to learn how to ride a bike.

Qin Ge was not busy today. He saw a little man walking slowly towards him from a distance. He wiped his hands with a towel, ran over, frowned and asked him, "Why are you here so late at night instead of staying at home?"

Shengxia curled her lips: "I couldn't sleep at home, so I came to see you. When are you going back?"

Qin Ge said, "I still have some work to do and it will be a little later. What brought you here?"

Shengxia showed him her arm and said, "I walked here. Look, it's all bitten! I want to learn how to ride a bike."

Shengxia was born with fair skin, but after being bitten by a mosquito, the redness and swelling were much more obvious than others. Qin Ge was furious when he saw this: "What are you doing here? It's so late, what if something happens?"

"Why are you so fierce..."

Shengxia originally wanted to play the victim and get Qin Ge to comfort her, but when she saw that Qin Ge was really angry, she whispered, "I just wanted to see you. You've been so busy lately and haven't been to school. I haven't seen you for several days. What kind of couple would go for several days without seeing each other?"

When Qin Ge saw Shengxia looking so pitiful, his anger immediately subsided. He had never dated anyone else, and this was his first time with Shengxia. Seeing Shengxia reminded him of the lotus flowers that had just opened in midsummer, so gorgeous and tempting. Qin Ge felt that this kind of flower seemed to be something that needed to be carefully watched.

"Come and sit down."

As he said this, he pulled Shengxia to sit on a small stool and found some medicine from the house.

"Apply it on Ding's bag. I'll be done in a while and take you home." Then he found her a fan.

Shengxia was fanning himself while reading a book. He didn't know why, but he could concentrate on the book. Qin Ge felt particularly satisfied while reading and watching him repair the car.

The repairs were not completed until almost twelve o'clock. Qin Ge came out from under the car covered in oil. The boss looked at the car, patted Qin Ge on the shoulder, and said directly that he knew he could definitely fix it.

"This is what you want. These are the ones that the city students don't want. They're the ones my son left over. If you don't mind, take them."

Qin Ge took the book: "Thank you, brother."

The boss waved his hand and told Qin Ge to go home and have a rest.

Qin Ge gave him the exercise book. Sheng Xia looked at the exercise book in his hand and suddenly felt touched. His nose and eyes felt sore. He felt that he was really a piece of shit. He was complaining about the book that Qin Ge had finally found someone to get.

She lowered her head and held the book. Qin Ge looked at her for a long time and said, "Don't pretend. You have to finish writing this."

The romantic thoughts that had just arisen in Shengxia were severely thwarted by Qin Ge's words.

The two of them rode back, and Shengxia sat on the back seat: "I want to stay at your place."

Qin Ge was stunned: "No, I have to go out tomorrow, to the city."
