"Yes, yes..." The receptionist nodded respectfully, returned the phone to Nie Yao, and timidly made a gesture of invitation: "Ms. Nie, this way, please. Mr. Nie's office is on the top floor..."
Nie Yao nodded slightly, thanked her politely, and said to Nie's father on the other end of the phone, "Dad, I'll be right up..."

Father Nie nodded, stood up, poured Nie Yao a glass of purified water, and handed it to her. Looking at the hair on her face, he asked with concern, "Ayao, did you go to the gym before coming to the company? Why do you look so sweaty?"
