Chapter 1347: The News Cannot Be Leaked
She carried her suitcase off the plane herself, and after walking a few steps, she saw Li Jinxing's car parked not far from the gate.
Nie Yao hung up the phone with a smile and walked over pushing the suitcase. Li Jinxing also got out of the car, walked straight up to her and gave her a hug.
"How is it? Are you tired?" Li Jinxing stroked her face and asked with a soft smile.
"Fortunately, your plane is very comfortable and the flight attendants are very friendly. I ate and slept all the way here!"
Nie Yao smiled and shook her head, then hugged him back. She asked thoughtfully, "Why do I feel like you've lost weight? You told me to eat and sleep well, but are you so busy with work that you've forgotten to eat and sleep?"
"Yaoyao, it's not that I'm busy with work, I'm probably just thinking about you..." Li Jinxing joked with a low laugh.
Nie Yao burst out laughing, pushed him and said, "You're actually joking with me. Let's go!"
The driver took the suitcase and helped put it away. Then the two got in the car hand in hand and left the airport.
"How was your food in Egypt during this time? I see you look tired and thin..." Li Jinxing held Nie Yao's palm and said distressedly, "I asked the housekeeper to make you some chicken soup. You can drink it when you get back. I also asked the kitchen to prepare your favorite lobster..."
"I'm used to the food. You sponsored our archaeological team to stay in such a nice hotel, so how could the food be bad?"
Nie Yao laughed dumbly, patted the back of his hand and consoled him, "I have no problem sleeping either. After all, I'm too busy every day. I fall asleep as soon as I touch the pillow!"
"Are you still having weird dreams?" Li Jinxing asked in a low voice.

"Don't worry, just let it go. I believe you will find the answer eventually!" Li Jinxing kissed her cheek soothingly.
Nie Yao nodded silently, looked out the window, and as she passed a road, she suddenly remembered something and asked Li Jinxing, "Li Jinxing, do you think I can go see my grandfather when I come back this time?"
Li Jinxing had known that she would bring this up, so he whispered, "Yaoyao, do you remember what I told you on the phone? You're back this time to cooperate with the investigation. If you go to visit your grandfather, the news might leak out!"
"But if we don't tell him, grandpa probably won't know..." Nie Yao frowned and said hesitantly.
"He doesn't know, but in this sensitive period, if he asks you about your second uncle, how will you answer?"
After Li Jinxing finished speaking, Nie Yao fell silent.
Inevitably, Grandpa might take the initiative to mention to her some recent rumors about the Nie family. Last time, Li Jinxing also tested Grandpa's attitude. No matter what, Grandpa wanted to protect Second Uncle!
If she quarreled with grandpa about this, it would only make grandpa's condition worse!
"Yaoyao, we're not sure right now whether there are any spies sent by your second uncle to your grandfather at the Nie family's old house, so to be on the safe side, it's better not to go there for the time being!"
