"Big deal?" Nie Yao was stunned when she heard this, staring at Li Jinxing with wide eyes: "Has he heard about it and is planning to run away with the money?"

The two returned home, drank the chicken soup that the old housekeeper had prepared in the kitchen, and had a sumptuous dinner. Li Jinxing asked Nie Yao to rest early and adjust to the time difference.
The next day, Nie Yao got enough sleep and, accompanied by Li Jinxing, went to meet the criminal police and prosecutors who were investigating the murder case that year in high spirits.
Nie Yao told the police clearly about the first time she met Lu Chunxia, and how she later went to find Lu Chunxia and discovered that she was burning incense and offering sacrifices at home.
The police and prosecutors sat down to take the statement. Seeing that what Nie Yao said matched Lu Chunxia's account, they smiled and said to Nie Yao, "Ms. Nie, thank you for your cooperation—"

Nie Yao frowned slightly and fell into deep thought.
After an unknown amount of time, she finally took out a picture album that belonged to her mother and handed it to the police officer in front of her: "This picture album was left by my mother before she died. Perhaps it can be used as evidence?"
The police carefully looked through the album she handed over. It clearly showed a scene of Nie Guanglin and a suspect making a deal. They nodded and said, "Very good, Ms. Nie. This can indeed be used as evidence. If you have any other evidence, please contact us immediately!"
Nie Yao smiled and nodded, whispering, "I will fully cooperate with your investigation. I have no other requests, I just hope you can find the murderer who killed my mother and bring him to justice!"
"We will do our best and will never let these criminals escape!" The police comforted Nie Yao and ended the investigation.
Li Jinxing was waiting outside when Nie Yao came out. When he saw her come out, he held her hand and asked softly, "Yaoyao, how are you?"
"I've already handed over the important evidence my mother left behind to the police!" Nie Yao gave Li Jinxing a faint smile and sighed softly, "They said this evidence is very important. I hope it can help us catch the murderer as soon as possible!"
