At this time, Nie Yao was still at the archaeological site, examining the unearthed cultural relics with Steve and other team members. When she received the call from her father, she thought she had misheard.

"Senior, senior..." Steve walked up to Nie Yao and called her several times. Seeing that she didn't respond and her face was pale, he couldn't help but patted her shoulder with some worry.
Nie Yao finally came to her senses and realized the call had been disconnected. Perhaps her father had gone to help her grandfather with the hospitalization procedures...

"What's wrong? Did something happen at home again?" Steve asked hurriedly.
Nie Yao nodded and answered with some difficulty: "Well, my grandfather is sick again and has been admitted to the operating room. My father said the situation is very urgent..."
As she spoke here, her eyes began to turn red.
Seeing this, Steve hurriedly comforted her, "Don't worry, Senior Sister, your grandfather will be fine! Leave the tasks here to me, you can go home and take care of him!"
"Steve, I'll leave this place to you for the time being!" Nie Yao patted his shoulder and immediately turned around and left the archaeological site.
She hurriedly took a taxi back to the hotel, packed her luggage as quickly as possible, booked the nearest flight back home, and got up immediately without even having time to say hello to Li Jinxing.

"I've been on the plane. I'm back now and am about to go to the hospital to see grandpa!" Nie Yao replied in a deep voice.
Li Jinxing was stunned for a moment and asked in surprise: "Yaoyao, when did you arrive? Why didn't you tell me before?"
"It was such a rush! I got a call from my dad and immediately got up!"
Nie Yao said this, smiled bitterly and sighed, saying, "Sorry, Li Jinxing, I'm in a state of confusion right now, and I can't explain it clearly over the phone. Please go directly to the hospital to meet me!"
"Yaoyao, I'm already in the hospital, waiting for you to come over!" Li Jinxing nodded slightly and answered softly.
