Chapter 1435 The Figure in the Rearview Mirror
"Captain, do you need someone to accompany you?" the team member asked with concern.
"No need, the car is nearby. I'll charge it and come back..." Nie Yao declined with a faint smile. Before leaving, she reminded him, "My phone is always on. If you observe any changes here, tell me immediately!"
Several team members nodded in agreement.
Nie Yao put his cell phone in his pocket, took a flashlight, and left the underground palace without even taking his backpack. He walked along the familiar road to the exit and climbed up.
Even though she didn't take off her down jacket, she still felt cold when she came out of the underground palace. She shivered suddenly, shone the flashlight in the distance, and soon found her own car!
Nie Yao quickly raised her foot and walked quickly towards her car. When she opened the door and got in, it was obviously much warmer inside the car than outside.
She breathed a sigh of relief, rubbed her hands, then took her phone out of her pocket, found the charging port and data cable in the car, and quickly connected the phone.
Seeing that the phone page started to show that it was charging, Nie Yao breathed a sigh of relief and simply sat in her seat, waiting for the phone to charge partially while looking for things in the car with a flashlight.
She looked in the front row but couldn't find any small telescope, and she didn't know if there were any bags in the back row that hadn't been taken away!
Nie Yao shrugged and was about to get out of the car to look in the back seat, or maybe the trunk, when she suddenly heard a subtle noise coming from behind...
Nie Yao immediately became alert and did not dare to look back. Instead, she carefully adjusted the rearview mirror in the car.
In the light of the flashlight, Nie Yao saw a somewhat familiar face appear in the rearview mirror.
"You--" Nie Yao's pupils suddenly shrank, and she immediately had a bad feeling.
"Why are you in my car?"
She clearly remembered that the car door was locked after she got out. How did this man get into her car and hide in the back seat of her car quietly?
Nie Yao no longer had time to question. Feeling uneasy, she wanted to get out of the car immediately, but she found that the door was locked and could not be opened no matter how hard she tried to push the door handle.
She pressed the automatic button to open the car door hard, but found that it was also not working!
There was a low laugh from the back row.

The man sighed softly. Nie Yao picked up the things in the car and threw them around while trying hard to push the car door.
After ringing a few times, the phone seemed to be connected, and a familiar voice came through the phone.
"Hey...Yaoyao..."
Nie Yao was still in the middle of a confrontation with this man, but upon hearing Li Jinxing's familiar voice, she immediately shouted, "Li Jinxing, it's me..."
