Chapter 146 Calling a meeting of family members
"I..." Nie Yao was startled by her father's sudden question, and she woke up from her sleepiness.
She raised her eyes and looked around the surroundings, and found that it was still the ward.
Before she took a nap last night, she clearly told Li Jinxing to wake her up after the injection and then leave the hospital. Who would have thought that he never woke her up and she slept in the hospital until dawn!

"Is it your father's call?" Li Jinxing was afraid that she would fall, so he quickly supported her and asked with concern.
"Yeah, he told me to go back immediately because he had something important to discuss..." Nie Yao shrugged and said in a low voice, "It's strange. He called me so early in the morning, and his tone was so serious. I have a feeling something big has happened!"
Having said this, she went to the bathroom, brushed her teeth and quickly washed her face, then hurried out, grabbed her phone and was about to leave.
"I'll go back with you..." Li Jinxing picked up her coat, helped her put it on, then carried her bag and left the ward together.

What's more, since Nie's father called to urge Nie Yao to go back, it must be related to the Nie family's private affairs. It would not be good for him, an outsider, to get involved rashly!
"Okay, then you should go back and rest first!" Nie Yao nodded. Seeing Li Jinxing's obviously tired look, she asked, "Do you still have the key to the apartment?"
She was in such a hurry to kick Li Jinxing out that she forgot to take back the key.
Li Jinxing nodded and smiled, ruffling her hair and said, "Call me when you're done, and I'll send someone to pick you up..."
Nie Yao nodded in response, then stood up, got out of the car, and walked straight into the Nie family's old house.
Li Jinxing sat in the car, staring at Nie Yao quietly until her figure disappeared from his sight, then he said to the driver calmly: "Let's go——"

"Yes!" The driver responded respectfully and drove directly towards the place where Jiu Ye's assistant Li Qin was.
