Chapter 1506 The Last Meeting
After the other party finished speaking, Nie Yao was no longer as resistant as before. She nodded and replied: "Okay, I will consider it——"
After Nie Yao ended the call, Li Jinxing frowned and asked, "Yaoyao, you just said that Nie Jinxi wanted to see you? She's about to start serving her sentence for burglary and theft. Why would she want to see you now?"
"Yes, it was her lawyer who called and said that he accepted the client's request and wanted to see me!" Nie Yao shrugged and smiled. "She also asked the lawyer to tell me that she has something important to tell me, and she must tell me in person!"
"Yaoyao, why do I feel like Nie Jinxi is playing some tricks again?" Li Jinxing put his arm around her waist and whispered, "I think you don't need to pay any attention to her!"

Li Jinxing was originally going to accompany Nie Yao inside, but Nie Yao smiled and said, "No need to bother. Just wait for me in the car, I'll be out in a moment!"
She knew that she and Nie Jinxi had never gotten along and could never chat for long!
"Okay, then I'll wait for you in the car. Be careful!" Li Jinxing kissed her forehead and whispered.
Nie Yao smiled and nodded, then walked straight in under the guidance of the police officer.
"You have fifteen minutes!" The prison guard glanced at the time and reminded Nie Yao in a deep voice.
Nie Yao responded with a smile, and waited for the prison guard to bring Nie Jinxi, who was wearing prison clothes, to her front. She raised her eyes and looked at Nie Jinxi carefully.
Now wearing prison clothes, Nie Jinxi has lost her exquisite makeup and her hair is cut very short. She seems to have lost her former pride and vitality.
There were some bruises on her face, as if she had been beaten...

At this point, she raised her eyebrows and asked, "Come on, what do you have to say? Why can't you tell me through your lawyer? Why do you have to say it to me in person?"
Nie Jinxi didn't answer her directly. Instead, she looked at Nie Yao quietly for a moment before she said, "I heard that you were kidnapped by tomb robbers before?"
Nie Yao raised her eyebrows slightly and asked in surprise, "So you're so well-informed even though you're imprisoned?"
"We can also watch the news!" Nie Jinxi explained in a light tone.
Nie Yao shrugged, not intending to deny it. She nodded and answered happily, "Yes, I was indeed kidnapped. But that tomb robber leader didn't have a good end either. He died before he could be arrested and imprisoned!"
Nie Jinxi frowned slightly, shook her head and sighed, "What a pity!"
When Nie Yao heard her words, she had a premonition that she had nothing nice to say again, so she asked back with amusement, "Nie Jinxi, you actually feel sorry for a tomb robber?"
"I feel sorry for you. You were kidnapped, but you were able to escape unscathed!" Nie Jinxi looked at Nie Yao coldly, sneering and mocking every word.
"Nie Yao, how could you be so lucky to escape this kind of situation time and time again?"
There was a hint of gnashing of teeth in her tone.
Nie Yao listened to her calmly. Originally, she was talking about just one kidnapping, but Nie Jinxi said it happened over and over again. Could she be referring to that time when they were children?
So when she was a child, Nie Jinxi knew very well that her second uncle Nie Guanglin had plotted against her and abducted her from the Nie family, which is why she sighed like this!
Nie Jinxi's parents have both been tried by the law, but Nie Jinxi still questions her in such a tone, as if she doesn't think that her family's actions were wrong from beginning to end!

Nie Jinxi clenched her fists in anger, glared at Nie Yao with wide eyes, and angrily shouted, "Nie Yao, if it weren't for you, would I be so miserable?"
"I harmed you?" Nie Yao sneered, shook her head, and asked in return, "Nie Jinxi, your parents' actions back then killed several people. If I hadn't been rescued by my adoptive father, I would probably be dead now. And now you're still saying I harmed you?"
At this point, she sneered and reminded him, "You are no longer a member of the Nie family, yet you still want to break into the Nie family's old house and steal the Nie family's finances. Do you still think that others are harming you?"
Nie Jinxi was speechless for a moment. She could only glare at Nie Yao angrily and said through gritted teeth, "I only regret that you didn't die in the wild back then!"
Nie Yao thought she was just venting and said coldly, "Nie Jinxi, I didn't come to see you today to listen to you rant. If that's all you want to say, then I don't have the time to continue with you!"
She was about to get up and leave, but Nie Jinxi saw her leaving and quickly called out to her, "Wait!"
"Go ahead!" Nie Yao raised her watch and pointed at the time, saying unhappily, "My time is precious!"
Nie Jinxi took a deep breath and her eyes fell on Nie Yao's hand. She found that her diamond ring had disappeared, and a sarcastic smile appeared at the corner of her lips.
"Nie Yao, where is your diamond ring?"
Before Nie Yao could answer, she seemed to have guessed something, and her smile widened even more. "Why, was it that you were kidnapped by that tomb robber, and Li Jinxing disliked your uncleanness and called off the engagement with you?"
