Chapter 2 I Didn't Kiss You On Purpose

Chapter 2 I Didn't Kiss You On Purpose

"Okay..." Nie Yao took off her gloves and wiped the sweat from her forehead, but found that the man had probably fainted, but his brows were still furrowed.

She asked Steve to fetch a basin of water and helped him wash away the dust and sand on his face. She found that the man had an extremely handsome face. Even with his eyes closed, it was difficult to conceal his sculpted features.

They had gone out to participate in this kind of archaeological research many times, but this was the first time they encountered such a situation. She admired this man from the bottom of her heart for being able to endure the pain and go through all this without anesthesia.

"Ivy, he has no ID and no cell phone. What should we do? Even if we send him to the hospital, they won't be able to admit him..."

Steve asked helplessly after searching through his coat and finding no useful information.

"He spoke Chinese, so he must be Chinese. I'll stay here and you go contact the embassy to see what to do in this situation..." Nie Yao said in a deep voice.

Steve nodded, grabbed his phone, and drove out of the camp and headed straight for the embassy.

Nie Yao looked at his cracked lips, shook her head and sighed, wondering how long he had been hiding in this dry and sandy place.

She took a cotton swab, dipped it in purified water, and moistened his lips. She then touched his forehead, worried that he might have a fever due to inflammation of the wound, so she stood up and looked for the antipyretic and anti-inflammatory drugs she had with her.

Feeding him the medicine proved to be a problem. Nie Yao tried several times, dragging his head and trying to pry open his mouth, but found that his jaws were tightly shut. She didn't know if it was because he had fainted from the pain just now...

Nie Yao stared at him silently for a moment, sighed softly, and said to herself: "Forget it, I'll save him to the end!"

She carefully lifted his head, gave herself a sip of pure water, then lowered her head and pressed her lips against his.

Although his face was terribly pale due to blood loss, his lips were a little hot, and even Nie Yao's face was a little hot.

But she did not forget her business. She pried open his teeth and fed him two anti-inflammatory pills.

After confirming that he had swallowed the water and medicine, Nie Yao breathed a sigh of relief and left. His eyes had slowly opened and were meeting her gaze.

Suddenly meeting his deep eyes, Nie Yao was stunned for a moment, until his breath sprayed in front of her, she reacted, and a red cloud quickly flew across her face.

"Um...I didn't mean to kiss you..."

Nie Yao quickly sat up straight and explained in a stammering voice, "You just fainted. I was giving you anti-inflammatory medicine..."

His coat had been taken off long ago, and his shirt had been unbuttoned for the convenience of treatment. His lips were a little red due to water droplets. He just lay there on the bed, adding a bit of messy beauty to his appearance.

But the man didn't answer, just staring at her. Nie Yao was a little flustered by his gaze. She quickly turned around and walked to the side, whispering, "I didn't mean to take advantage of you..."

Before she could finish, a deep male voice sounded from behind her: "You... saved my life..."

Nie Yao turned around and saw the man struggling to get up. She quickly walked over and held his shoulder, whispering, "Don't move, or the wound will open again. Do you have any identification? We can take you to the hospital..."

"No need, my people will be here soon..." The man shook his head, his voice a little hoarse: "Thank you very much, I will definitely give you the reward..."
