Chapter 287 Make a Promise
Another night of back pain.
When he woke up the next day, Li Jinxing did not get up early for the first time, but slept with Nie Yao until dawn.
"Aren't you going to discuss business today?" After Nie Yao went into the bathroom to wash up, she saw that he was not in a hurry to leave. She asked with a raised eyebrow and a smile while checking her neck.
"No rush, the appointment time hasn't come yet..."
Li Jinxing smiled faintly. Seeing that she had been looking at something in the mirror, he walked over and asked jokingly, "What are you checking? Do you need my help?"
"No need!" Nie Yao waved her hand, glared at him, and muttered softly, "I'm checking to see if you got carried away last night and left marks on my neck!"
"What does it matter?" Li Jinxing chuckled and put his hand on her neck. Looking at her neck which had no marks left on it, he felt a little regretful.
"Of course it matters. I have to go out later. It's been very hot these past two days, and I don't want to wear a scarf!" Nie Yao waved his fingers away and warned him righteously: "If you dare to leave marks on my neck again, don't even think about getting into my bed!"
"Do you know him?" Li Jinxing narrowed his eyes and asked angrily and amusedly.
"Of course!" Nie Yao nodded with a serious expression.
Li Jinxing looked at her deeply and did not answer. Instead, he turned and went to the living room and asked the suite butler to bring in breakfast.
Seeing that he didn't answer her, Nie Yao was unsure of his thoughts, so she quickly chased him out and asked, "Hey, Li Jinxing, you haven't agreed to me yet..."
Seeing the butler coming in with the dining cart, Nie Yao quickly stopped talking. After the butler quietly left, she and Li Jinxing sat face to face at the dining table before she spoke, "You didn't answer my question just now!"
Li Jinxing cut a piece of croissant, dipped it in salted butter and took a bite, then took a sip of the hot coffee. Then he said with a half-smile, "Yaoyao, why don't we make a pact..."
"What agreement?" Nie Yao asked puzzledly.
"If you didn't have those annoying flies buzzing around you, I promise you, there won't be any marks on your neck!"
After Li Jinxing finished speaking, Nie Yao frowned slightly and asked in confusion, "What flies? Where can there be flies in this weather?"
"Little fool, I'm talking about those men who covet you..." Li Jinxing raised his eyebrows slightly, picked up the knife and cut a piece of sausage, and said thoughtfully: "Besides Ji Minghuan, there are others...such as that annoying young movie star!"

"You just have to promise me to stay away from those flies that covet you, and I promise not to leave any trace!"
